A mate purchased one of these a while ago, he paid full price for it and was more than happy with it

So for £48.59 (saving £56.00) I thought this was a bargain and will be reserving one to collect soon

Delivery is an option but is pretty hefty at £19.99

this any good?

not up to snap-on quality as I've got a snap-on roll cab with top box, but none the less this is a good price for what it is. I may nip down to my local Halfords & have a squint, be ideal to have in my garage.

Well its not going to be as good as some of the £1000 drapers but for sub £50 it should be a decent little chest for the garage or shed

We have one - I got one for Hubby years ago. The top bit comes off if needed and the bottom cupboard has a different door but it's crackin'. Can't fault it really.
#5
nice then?

awesome!!! ordered one and collecting it tomorrow :)

Dont forget 3% cashback if its honoured. Good spot, wish I had the space. Thanks though.

Ahh good point :) even cheaper

Ive both this and the professional cabinet and for the money its a great cabinet for light weight tools only.
I use my professional cabinet for large heavy mechanics tools and this one for things like saws/gloves etc. Cant fault for the price

Not in the Beta, Teng or Snap-on league, but a decent and reliable 'draper' item form Halfords.
Ideal for home or occasional/light trade use.
#11
Wow, thats a deal....... I just sold my snap on roll cab as I couldn't justify having it anymore. This will do nicely!

excellent heat added

I got one of these the last time they were on offer. They're ok for DIY use but not for anything else. Metalwork is thin and flimsy and drawers are not ball bearing. I find it fine for what I need. What would make it even better is if they included rubber drawer linings as the paint scrapes off as the tools move about in the drawers.
#14
Never had a problem with Quidco always tracked and paid at Halfrauds.

The missus bought me one for Christmas, quite surprised as I think it's the best prezzie she's ever bought me! And for the price I can't fault it :)

I think it's actually used daily with plenty of space for me tools.

I put some of the anti slip stuff you get for a cars boot or dashboard and put this in each draw, works a treat :)

BTW Hot from me !

Previous thread @ £49.99

Posters comment on the size?

It's good if you fancy booby trapping your house against house robbers (i.e. attaching it to a door handle at the bottom of your attic and letting it fall down the stairs into the robbers) - As seen in Home Alone 2

got one a few months ago the lower door is now up n over bit flimsy but is fine for light use
#21
Bear in mind that this is only just over 1M in height. This is not the size of a tool chest you might see in a mechanic's garage even though they've designed it to look like that in pictures.
#22
This is the normal price. Halfords do this all the time, full price for 1 month, sale price for 2, rinse and repeat.
#23
Reserved ! Thanks
#24
Have two of these, great for the price. As others have said, don't expect top quality and they aren't massive, but they're still great for the average DIYer.
#25
Bought two these the last time they "reduced" them. Worth the money in my opinion
#26
Don't waste your money absolute rubbish, the draws kept falling through on mine and jamming, I I gave mine away.
#27
Thanks OP. Ordered for pick-up. About time I got organised and treated myself for once.
#28
Got one of these last time it was on offer & just picked another one up to day
great for money, had no problems at all with mine, what else can you get like it
for the price.
#29
Just reserved and picked one up (+ quidco). Pleasantly surprised for the money - better than I expected. Have lined the draws with anti slip material.

It's gone up in price - is this likely go down again soon? Someone suggested this is usualy the case with halford
