8 alkaline AA batteries for a quid!

I've used Halfords branded batteries before and found them to be pretty good considering the price - certainly a step up from the no-brand zinc cells that you normally find for this price.

Collect in store only but can be reserved.

Don't forget Topcashback or Quidco.

ah the community speaks. buy cheap, buy twice, or more......cheap batteries always have poor lifetimes, and you end up going through many of them!

Good Alkaline Batteries ,Not Zinc rubbish ,to me have been as good as Duracells - Too many Lemming voters -If you haven't tried them don't vote ,don't just follow the leader as you Lemmings normally do .

My thoughts exactly. Noone else can touch this - most are at least twice this price including all the usual suspects like supermarket own brands. Premium brands are deffinitely a cut above but the cheapest ones (Duracell) on HUKD are 3x the price and they just aren't 3x better.

I've noticed that often people vote cold on things that they just don't want or they get upset that the deal is similar to something they want but not exactly what they want and once a few get a sulk on everyone else just seems to follow. There are actually several very well recieved posts for own brand alkaline batteries still active on HUKD and they're all more expensive than this deal. Oh well, more for us I guess.
