  Good price, awful company.
  Personally I wouldn't go there if it was free, they tried charging my friend a fortune for work he didn't actually need.

  ok, well if everyone else is being negative. i use to rate them for mots but they ripped me off to the tune of £300 last time for fixing the brakes. i had a hunch that was proved right when i went back down there and proved to them they hadn't fixed the problem. i got my £300 back from head office.

  Just had both my cars MOT'd with this offer, one 5 YO and one 9 YO.
  No issues both passed.

  Avoid, rip off merchants. They failed my car because the ABS light wouldn't come on. The ABS light doesn't show if the ignition is switched on a second time within a few seconds..... This is normal behaviour!
  
  Try your local council MOT station instead, mine (Oldham) do them for about £32 and have no incentive to find extra faults. They can be quite busy but with advance planning it shouldn't be a problem.

  People will always think that the garage will make back the money by finding work to do.
  
  However good value for a young car that has been well looked after. Voted hot.

  A friends wife took her car to be MOT'd at Halfords and they wouldn't test it unless she paid to have the timing belt changed because she couldn't prove it had been changed at the correct interval!!!
  
  I'd avoid them at all costs and follow amjad175's advice and book early at a council test centre.
