It's the good old:

£30
Save £10
Was £40 *
* Intervening prices may have been charged
Which leaves you wondering whether you're getting anything any cheaper than you could have last week. Hate it when sites do this, Argos is particularly guilty IMHO.

Except £10.00 for a cooker is a great deal. The thread that posted an unknown make for £9.00 with codes went to 330 degrees?????

Can't comment on that, haven't voted on this. I feel your pain but Halfords and Argos can be very disingenuous when it comes to the actual price they've reduced from :/

You should give some examples of good deals in the sale in your description. You've mentioned a £30 cook set, but you haven't stated what's in the set or what the discount is, so people can't make a judgement on whether it's good value or not.

But on this occasion, with these deals it is a good saving. I have been on this site for many years and it seems to me most voters just follow the herd without taking a proper look at the deal. E.G. post a pair of knickers with a saucy pic and some schoolboys (or those with the same level of intelligence) will vote hot and then everyone follows. Like so many previous contributors, I will reconsider whether posting a deal is worth the effort.

So they are not capable of clicking on the link before voting cold? There are too many deals there for me to go into all of them, so I picked that at random, hence the e.g.

I don't disagree with you, but you specifically asked why people were voting cold and I imagine the pseudo discounts that Halfords proclaim are probably one of the reasons. It's somewhat soul destroying posting deals on here to see them iced, which is why I've only posted 3 myself :)

You did your bit by posting the deal, that is a gift of your time and effort :) after that it's Horses and water.

BUT words are like magic, just because people don't vote or comment does not mean they haven't read the post x

That does not explain the cold votes.

@OP Thanks, airbed and air pillow ordered - £10

A flocking good deal.

great deal for the cooker at £30, heat added, may I suggest posting a picture of the cooker, people seem more interested when posting deal for a specific object rather than a general sale. :)
