I don't have a problem getting my 6yr old in one like this. I'll give you some parenting lessons for £30 if you like, then I can buy one of these as a spare.

Sorry but our lad used to prefer the 5 point ratcheting race harness I installed.....coolest and most envied kid in the school car park.

marty-401 - is this a harness that fits directly to the car (without a booster/car seat of any sort)?
When I was a kid, my dad put in a kids harness, it seems to me to be safer and simpler than a booster seat. But I don't know where you would by one today and I can't work out if it is legally allowed instead of a booster seat.

No, sorry it's all self designed and built. Fitted into a Caterham 7 replica with 2 inch wide webbing. Custom fit seats and Defnder neck support and helmet for when we go for a proper ride.
