i think this is the same tent package that i got last year, i paid 99.99 so if you can get it at that price great but beware of the air beds they pop EXTREAMLY easily :( ive taken ours back 5 times now :( everything else is great though

Vote hot on the basis that its a reasonable deal if you don't have the sleeping bags or air beds already (assuming that they are not worthless tat).

This similar 6 person tent is an alternative worthy of consideration (despite the voting from brand snobs) if you are just after a slightly larger and lighter tent (10kgs) without all the extra sleeping bags etc....

as said halfords have this deal everyyear --- still a good deal for a few dry / light rainweekends ==== it will leak as its not a super duper tent

Went to Newquay last year and my friend had one of these tents, England being England it started to rain and it absolutely destroyed the tent, water leaked in everywhere ended up taking it down and sleeping in the car. Great deal but beware this tent is NOT waterproof!!!

1500mm HH is woefully inadequate for this country. 2000mm is an absolute minimum to contend with our wind and rain. One good downpour and it's cheap tat like this that ends up putting first timers off camping for life.

use the 100 quid and get a good vango tent ,id never go camping in one of these, a good quality tent with 3000mm and sleeping bags is a must when camping in this country.

I bought one last year and it didnt even need to rain to put me off!!!

If living out of plastic bags is your idea of a great weekend then be my guest.

Likewise, having to trudge across to the toilet block to do anything or get washed (came out feeling dirtier than i went in) isn't my idea of a GREAT weekend.

Forgot batteries for the lights, so come 9pm it was time for bed. Still....at least our beds stayed inflated.

Found the wife from the family next door sitting wrapped in a blanket with a face like thunder after their bed went down in the middle of the night.

Still at least the game of lets try and remove the unremovable sticky labels from the camping plates kept us busy for an hour or three.

Must be hundreds of these coming up for sale having been "used once".

Anyone want to buy mine?

sorry-voted cold-
these are rubbish tents.
ours collapsed on us in rain storm last year, poles snapped, and left us very wet, cold and stranded in the middle of cornwall at 2 am in the morning last year,

the tent went in a skip at the motorway services, and we had a long tiring and wet journey home!

spent the money on a decent second hand tent on ebay instead

What a load of rubbish........Believe me I have been camping for years,Stay well away from ANY supermarket tent.

1500HH is the absolute minimum,Most of the best tents have 5000HH.(Outwell,Vango,Khyam,Gelert,Coleman etc)

If you don't believe me have a read on here.

Took one of these to a festival in Holland last year, and the year before. Downpours in the middle of the night, and no problems. Looks like other people have, so YMMV.

I bought this tent last year for the F1 @ Silverstone, those of you who can remember that far back.. it rained. We'd of had more cover using the bag it came in. The 1500 h/s head was worthless.
There is no skirt arount the fly sheet so the slightest amount of wind will pick up the side of the tent leaving you / your bedding and your belongings really exposed. This tent went back the next day. The 'extras' were rock bottom cheapness aswell. even with two sleeping bags I was still shacking like a 'sh****g' dog all night.

Do yourself a favor dont buy this piece of garden waste - try a more specialised place which deal with 'go'ing 'outdoors'

Do yourself a favour and buy a proper tent. I have a Outwell Bear Lake 6 - I couldn't believe that I would spend that much money on a tent but now having used it 10 times glad I did.

I thought this was a pretty good deal for something similar:
http://www.argos.co.uk/ProductDisplayTRK019?partNumber=3409158

This is a 4 Person Family Starter Pack with 2 single sleeping bags,2 single air beds, 1 double sleeping bag and 1 double air bed.

From what I can see, and having read the reviews it looks pretty good.

It does not have the camping lights which the Halfords one does but it is £30 cheaper.

i got this one and just come back form one night away! it done the job great, but i personally think the airbeds aint comfy at all, so gonna invest in some deluxe ones, as i am knackered today, well happy with the tent, although it did look a little inferior next to some of the hardcore campers, but its suited its purpose, now we know we like to camp, we will invest in the equipment, and hopefully get one of them big poly tunnels every else seems to have lol, only down side is i need a bigger new car and all now : ( but still cheaper than spain every year ; )
