Good reviews too!

If my son didn't already have a Battery and petrol Quad i'd consider getting him this. But I think once he's outgrown his battery Quad (he's 3) he'll be wanting to ride his little petrol one.

I think this is a lovely Xmas gift.....

You can't really compare prices unless it's the same item - all of these ride-on's are different prices and do different things.

This one carries two children too!

We got ds this last xmas, been well worth the money, pretty hard wearing and both him and his sister race about on it together! He's 4 in october and not small for his age but cant see him growing out of it anytime soon :)

Unfortunately it doesn't say.
But from experience i'd say a bike of this size with 2 speeds would be 12v.
If you aren't sure but want to get one i'd suggest you reserve for collection and have a look, because the offer ends today!

Maybe someone who has one knows........

Oh it's a 6v lol, just found details in the Q&A section Halfords Q&A Flame Quad

More info from the Q&A page

Question
How many batteries and how many motors does the Flame Quad have?
If the quad uses 2 * 6V 12AH batteries and runs two motors it should keep up with the other cars that the kids have.

Answers
The Flame Quad has 2 x 12v Motors and 2 x 6v batteries

Thanks, found that but there is also another question and answer on the same site that reads:

I've reserved one and will check it out. Cheers. If it is 12v it is a very good price.

Lol well I think it's worth a look.
Also before you go collect have a look if they have one out in the shop floor, then purely for being sure (not because you are a big kid at all) have a go ;)

All of these bikes are different and go at different speeds. My son had a small 6v Quad last year from Argos and was really slow, but others have said they've had them with 6v batteries and been fine.

He now has a larger 12v Quad which I had on a great offer from LW and it's really nippy :) plus he doesn't look like he's going to flatten it lol

Let us know how you get on!

Anyone collected one yet?

Cheers for this! Great deal. Reserved for collection tomorrow

Reserved and collected yesterday. After the salesman gave himself a hernia getting it in the car (It's a massive box) I got it home and unpacked it and was happy with the build quality. Seems strong plastic and has 2 x 6v batteries. Initially thought some items were missing (keys etc) but there is a sticker on the seat saying some items are hidden under the seat so managed to find everything and it was all OK.

Very happy with the deal and can't wait till Xmas. Checked with Halfords today and it's already gone back up to £199.

If you do get one, it's a big box and you will need help carrying it. If you intend to hide it till Xmas you will need some considerable space to put it.

Thanks for the initial info on this deal.

This is a 12v quad, it wouldn't even go 1mph if it was 6v due to the size of the thing
