I was looking for stock for the Bloc sunglasses listed earlier, and noticed that when adding 2 items in the 'Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price' offer, I was only charged for the most expensive one at checkout. e.g. add 2 items for £29.99 each, but only charged £29.99. Some items are available in store only, others are available for Reserve & Collect, or home delivery (with a charge). You can check stock online. Definately works for the Bloc sunglasses (I ordered 2 pairs but was only charged for one, and my order is showing confirmed), but appears to work with the other items listed also. Also works on multiple orders i.e 2,4,6 items, etc
Update: Reports are coming in that orders are being honoured, so it did work. I'm glad some of you managed to take advantage of this in time. However, it looks like the sites been corrected and it's back to Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price again.

Original Bloc £10 glasses post: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/679352/bloc-hawkeye-black-sunglasses-10-00

Don't know why it's expired, as still showing stock available in some branches.

If you can find some near you, you may be able to get 2 pairs for £10!

Great find - Rep :)

Looks like everything in the buy one get one half price is going into the basket as BOGOF.

Gonna have a wee look around now.
#3
Looks like the Bloc sunglasses then.

Thanks very much.

You're welcome.

Good find OP. Hope they don't sell them on me like they did last to I did a reserve and collect from Halfords.

Have some H&R for your time.

DAMN!! They've just phoned me back to say that they haven't got stock and it was a stock control mistake.

Thanks UKKit an excellent spot and even better because my local store actually has what I want in stock. 2 pair at £20 but only £20 to pay - WHOOPEE.

This happened last year as well - I smell a rat
#10
If this happens, try picking something that is in stock for delivery, then it can be sent direct to home/work address (£2.99 charge I think) or to the store for free to collect - avoids the "we don't have that in this store" phone call.

good find, nothing of interest to me though :-D

when i add 2 bloc sunglasses for the BOGOF offer, and i put in my postcode, it says no where in uk has stock of them

but when i just choose ones, i can get a few local stores that have stock

anyway, just ordered one, they probably wont have in in stock anyway!

Thats because they only have one pair in stock. You need to keep trying different things. In circumstances like this, I usually order what I want on one screen and open another to find out what they have got. When you find something in stock on the second screen add it to the first screens basket. Otherwise you're forever deleting stuff out of your basket.

what a kerfuffle
#15
Is this just on the bike stuff?
#16
I reckon they will refuse all these orders :(
#17

Or just use the stock check facility, which doesn't add anything to your basket!

Keep an eye on the specials at Lidl and Aldi (check their websites) as they often have pretty decent cheap bike stuff. Otherwise check out Decathlon stores http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/ though don't think they do mail order.

The Polaris shorts are pretty good.

Wiggle is another very good place for bike stuff.
#24

I like www.jejamescycles.co.uk - they often have some previous season bargains around and delivery is either free or very reasonable.
#26
These are good too: http://www.probikekit.com/ free shipping

Woo hoo!

After thousands of hours on here.
That many mouse-clicks RSI is an inevitability before I'm 40.
Probably hundreds of miles clocked up going to various places trying to find the deals.
I've finally got a deal!

I think the only other one I've ever had was a £2 stationary tray from PC World.
#34
good deal for the sealskinz socks

but if your going for sunglasses the Endura Spectrum glasses are better value
#35
I think this has been corrected now.

Prior to going out I could see the free item but now it seems to be as it should be.

Shame my phone and or website are terrible combination.

I managed to reserve 2 Bloc sun glasses last night, picked up today no problem. 1 @ £29.99 + 1 @ £20.00 and I got the £20.00 pair free. Well spotted ukkit, thanks.
#37
just collected my shoes - no problem
great spot UKKit!

Just checked, looks like they have fixed the glitch. I paid for mine online and to pick up this Sunday, I hope they don't cancel my order.
