Lol, they are for cars, fuses for things like lights, horn, electric windows etc, basically anything electrical on a car will have one of these type of fuses.

Good find, but not a huge selection of values no 15amp and no 10amp which are the fuse that is mostly used in a cars fuse box.

£3.39 is a joke for these, 10p is a bit more like it.

Plenty on ebay though in mixed packs

I wonder how often car fuses blow in a situation which can be rectified by changing them.

There is a reason why these are so cheap. If you want buy for emergycy use make sure you buy the 30 amps one

I think this advise should come with a disclaimer oO. Use a fuse to match the amp specified in the circuit. Putting a fuse that has a higher amp rating is a fire hazard.
