I find a lot of the car product offers go cold because many people don't know anything about the products and think you clean a car with only a bucket of water and a dish cloth.

As long as the people who need to see the offer, see it, im happy ;)

I did mine at the weekend, full clay bar session to remove a lot of the winter grime! (It was bad!!)

Thanks for the hot votes.

Thanks for the heads up, I need some more car shampoo.

Good stuff this!
not had heartburn once since drinking this.

Thanks for the headsup.

I've always wanted to try their high endurance tyre gel [currently using Blackfire, which is excellent, but twice the price! oOhttp://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/blackfire-long-lasting-tyre-gel-cat15.html] so reserved a bottle along with a tyre applicator.

Cheers.

Halfords website is horrible, that pop up window to look at item details is nasty! I was going to get a Autoglym kis to clay and wax my car in when the poor weather clears but i might have a look at some meguiars instead.

recommendations for a metallic black?
Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit +
Meguiars Nxt Generation Tech Car Wax 2.0
or
Meguiars Gold Class Liquid Car Wax
or
Meguiars Deep Crystal Carnauba Car Wax

Colleague is amateur detailer and although he uses higher end stuff himself, he advised the Gold class as being nicer to use than the Nxt stuff...

I went for the Clay set + Gold Shampoo+Wax kit... for £33.58 it's a good price

Seems to be 20% offer on 'best sellers', includes Autoglym shampoo and super resin polish

20% off Best sellers

If you want a half decent wax on the cheap, then go for the Autoglym HD wax kit, BUT NOT FROM EXTORTIONATE HALFRAUDS!

Their price £44.99 http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_539009_langId_-1_categoryId_165527

The 'bay from £26.48 http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A2%257C39%253A6%257C72%253A3445&rt=nc&_nkw=autoglym+HD+wax&_dmd=1&_dmpt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_vc=1

Includes decent quality microfibre and two 'special' application sponges.

Another excellent wax [even better IMHO] which I've used is 3M's Show Car paste wax - again, bought mine from the 'bay a while ago. Huge tin for the money, but not from any UK source at present. It really is superb stuff if you want to wait [from the states]

£19.38 at current exchange rates http://****.com/ebaymotors/3M-39526-Perfect-It-Show-Car-Paste-Wax-Ultra-High-Gloss-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2c5571e0b3QQitemZ190412087475QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories though mine was under £15 at the time....

If you're going to the trouble of claying a car, then a decent wax is really worthwhile [none of the Mequiars ones are IMHO]

If you want to do a top notch job, then use Dodo Juice's Lime Prime as a pre-wax cleanser as well - about £13.50 from here as an example http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=dodo+juice+lime+prime&_sacat=0&_dmd=1&_odkw=born+slippy&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

BTW there are two different versions - don't bother with the Lite one.

Well, guess what? I submitted the same order for reserve and collect at another store showing instock and left it for a full 24 hours to give them the chance to ring me in case the same situation arose again.

No phone call, so I merrily went down this afternoon to pick up the items, but of course they TOO don't have any stock! Grrr!!

I am really **** off having wasted time and effort twice now for exactly the same thing - not to mention the waste of petrol at an extortionate £1.30 per litre and being stuck in traffic - all for nothing!

I have got the name of the manager [not there of course!] and am sending a letter of complaint with a copy to the Chief Executive David Wild.

Oh, and not once did I hear the word 'Sorry'..............
