After waiting for a few years, Halo 2 is FINALLY coming to PC. This is the cheapest I could find preordering Halo 2 (PC).

Only for Windows Vista, "Halo 2" will offer gamers both the single-player campaign and multiplayer experience of the original, as well as the additional maps offered in the "Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack." Gamers will also have the exciting opportunity to build, create and customize their own multiplayer levels.

Note: This game will require Windows Vista in order to play (dumb i know!), hope there will be a fix for this though.

It will be released on 18th May 2007.

Just to let everyone else know, this is the first game MS are applying their PC Gamerscore to. Thus with this game you can get 1000 gamerscore on your xbox live account.

(Thus it wont be long before a save file gets passed around for most of the achievements...)

Thanks for the extra info borandi

Only for Vista! what sort of tosh is that...:x

Its Vista only due to it being one of the first Xbox Live compatible cross platform games:w00t:

So - us PC owners will be able to sign up to LIVE! and Frag those EggBox360 owners;-)

Actually it ISN'T cross platform. Although it will be running on Live Anywhere! and the nametags for both systems will be shared and you can use the Xbox controllers on the pc as standard if you want to.

Don't hold your breath on a "fix" being made to bring it to XP. It's been made to take specific advantage of the new processes built into Vista and specifically the new Display Driver Layer. Plus Live Anywhere also isn't being moved to XP.

they fixed the save swapping some time ago. all saves are locked to a user account so you cant pass them around.
