Does seem to be the cheapest around at the moment for a new copy. But if you dont mind a 2nd hand one, ebay is your friend.

It's a classic already? blimey, think i'm been losing my mind, seems it was only out a few weeks ago...

If you're local to a Comet store, I mananged to pick this up new for £9.99 last night from a bargain games basket near the tills - was the only copy though and I'd hate to have people wasting a journey, but if you're passing it may be worth a look.

Pre-owned £6 @CEX

Can anyone help me out here as a total game noob.
I am after getting an xbox and have no knowledge of these 'classics'. Where there is a sequel is it better i play the early incarnations or do most sequels stand alone without prior knowledge. Or is that an over generalisation?

Catch up tomorrow.

£10+ for an old 360 game... NOT much of a deal if you ask me.

You can get it preowned, anywhere and everywhere. for half that price.

As for the Classics, as far as I am aware, it's just a re-release of an old game for the budget market.

As far as playing sequels, it's up to you?! Halo3 for example is a 3rd installment of a story.
Halo 1-2 are on the original xbox, so if you feel the need to know the whole story, by all means go back and have a blast. They are totally playable. But just more of the same in Halo 3.
What you really should do is find the cutscenes form Halo1-2 on youtube, then pile right into H3.

But for other games where 1+2 are both on the 360. I'd go for the 1st game 1st.

Hope this helps
