Halo 3 The epic saga continues with Halo 3, the hugely anticipated third chapter in the highly successful and critically acclaimed Halo franchise. Master Chief returns to finish the fight, bringing the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race to a dramatic, pulse-pounding climax.

Taking full advantage of the power of Xbox 360, Halo 3 expands on everything that has made the Halo franchise great, adding a wealth of graphical, technical and gameplay advancements, as well as offering a whole new level of online gameplay.

Game Features

Next-Gen Advantage: Taking full advantage of the power of Xbox 360, Halo 3 expands on everything that has made the Halo franchise great, adding a wealth of technical and gameplay advancements.

Evolution of Design: Next-generation high-definition visuals, enhanced A.I., an advanced real-time lighting engine, and new weapons, characters, and challenges are just a few examples of Halo 3's evolution of design and technology.

Online Multiplayer: Working in concert with Xbox Live on Xbox 360, Halo 3 builds upon the unique social multiplayer experience and innovative, evolving online gameplay of Halo 2.

Fable 2

Set 500 years after the original game, Fable II offers even more choices and features, while building on the core gameplay theme of Fable where every choice continually defines who you become, allowing you to truly live the life you choose.

Choices, consequences. The innovative gameplay pioneered in the original Fable provided gamers with a never-before-seen level of immersion in a truly interactive world. Fable II expands upon the scope and depth of the Xbox classic by adding incredible new features and creating a wider, more complex kingdom of limitless choices and consequences.

A land far, far away. Revisit the sprawling world of Albion more than 500 years after the events of the original Fable, where you are free to explore the landscape and openly roam the countryside. For the right price every house, hut, dungeon and castle is for sale.

Fight with ease. Fable II pioneers a new combat system designed to allow players to truly master hand weapons such as swords and maces, ranged combat weapons such as bows and guns, and an entirely new magic system. These three disciplines, while very accessible, are also amazingly deep, and allow players to mix combat styles and become everything from master swordsman to skilled ranger to evil magic wielder.

A hero's best friend. This groundbreaking addition to the game is integral to the theme of unconditional love in Fable II. The canine companion will act as friend, compass and protector. Players must merely feed their pooch and he will love unconditionally, creating a bond that sets up emotion-filled journeys all throughout this magical world.

Experience the world together. For the first time in the Fable series, gamers can experience the expansive and immersive world of Fable II with friends, utilising the new and exciting Dynamic Co-Op Mode, bringing the long-awaited multiplayer function to the world of Fable II.

Already have Halo 3, never played it really... sort of interested in Fable 2 tho - what's a good price for this pre-owned, and is it worth having? I'm a bit of an FF man normally...

If you mean Final Fantasy then I'm not sure why you're even comparing the two games. Fable 2 and 3 (I'll let 1 off even though I don't agree) are barely RPG's. Action/adventure, sure, but I'll be damned before I let someone tell me they're RPG's.

Anyways, 2 was a decent game, just too easy and a bit short.

Not really that great a price, about expected for 4 year old games. If you have never played them, worth a punt I guess. But as has already been mentioned pre-owned for half this price almost. And not all of them are disgusting second hand tat, you can ask for a different one if the one you get doesnt look too good, and there will be hundreds of these ones almost anywhere.

Fable 2 is fantastic. I only played it last year when it was put up free by accident on xbox live but I've deleted it and I'm still thinking of buying it again. It's got some great daft humour. It is stupidly easy but that doesn't matter because it's an enjoyable romp. I hate achievements but this has the best going because they're for doing fun things and only one you could really classify as a grind.

Doesn't look like Fable 2 is the GOTY classic from what I can see.

Had bad luck with the Fable 2 I bought preowned from Gamestation, first manual was torn, got a replacement, then the disc would neither install or even get past the splash screen and finally had to give my address for the refund in case I quote "had stolen it".

This is despite the game still having the stickers on it (another annoyance with preowned as they put stickers on the manual itself rather than put them in a little selofane packet, so your manual can get torn when you remove it) and having a receipt.

Your mileage will vary in different shops I think, GAME (same parent company) preowned stuff I got was fine. But the state that some stuff is sold in is appalling yet the price charged is the same regardless of the condition. Time was that GAME didn't buy it if you didn't have the box and manual. I bet they stiff the people who sell the bad quality games too.

What? The HMV student discount? I'm pretty sure they discontinued that service. How do you get it? I'm a uni student so I'd be glad to know.

Always buy pre-owned, never had the slightest problem. Discs are manufactured pretty robustly these days.

As SmashInt said, if you were lucky enough to get a discount card a while ago, it still works if you linked it to your online account. I linked mine even after they stopped the discount and it still worked. Luckily I kept my old card lying around in my drawer.

Awww that sucks then...

Anyway, are these two games both Classics edition? Are there are bonuses included? In the case of Fable 2, will it include the two downloadable content packs?
