I know it's pre-owned, but still a good price i think! dont know if its the same price instore..

The epic saga continues with Halo 3, the hugely anticipated sequel to the highly successful and critically acclaimed Halo 2.

edit: expired as is already posted sorry

If you are just going to play the multi-player and not the single player then it would be better for you to get Halo: ODST because it comes with a separate disc that has Halo 3's multi-player on it along with all the map packs.

Cheapest price I could find for ODST is £7.50 from here (pre-owned, if you want it new then the cheapest I could find is £12.93 here.

This means if you want all the map packs then you will only have to spend £7.50 (or £12.93).

Halo 3's map packs are:

Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack - 800 MP
Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack II - 800 MP
Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack - 600 MP
Total - 2200 MP
(MP = Microsoft Points)

So all the map packs would cost 2200MP (funnily, 100 points more then the 2100 MP cards they sell) which means you will need to get a 4200 point card.

The cheapest 4200MP card i could find is £33.26 here

so if you want halo 3 and all the map packs it would cost

£4.98
£33.26
-----------
£38.24 which is alot more then £7.50.

So in summary, get Halo ODST if you only care about multi-player. but if you aren't that obsessed with the multi-player then yes get this instead.

But hasn't everyone who has an xbox already got this game?

Decent online game, thought single player was rubbish though.
