    Heat added. Good price.
Tempted, but I'll leave it. My stack of unplayed games is now getting quite ridiculous.

Won't be long now until it hits £14.99 like Forza Horizon last week

Never fancied Halo before, but in the last few weeks I've bought Halo CE: Anniversary, Halo3, Reach and now this... will try and play through them all once Im done with dishonored.

Am I missing anything by not playing Halo 2?

I thought Halo 2 had the best multiplayer until 4 came along.
Don't worry, a Halo 2 Anniversary Edition is coming, so you'll get your chance.

Great price. Bought this from Asda last week for £20.

Have played all Halo series of games so far but am really struggling to get in to this one, and I'm really dissapointed (I was soooo looking forward to it). It all feels a bit too frantic and repetetive without much of a breather in between ....a bit like I find COD (just my personal opinion). Can't quite put my finger on why I'm not getting on with this one but it does feel different and lacking some magic. Still, will persevere.

I was going to vote this cold but I'll just leave it. £17 new - £12 preowned. To me it seems stupid to go for new when it's £12 preowned but each to their own.

Thought 20 pound from game was good, but happy to wait a few days to save a few quid. Heat.

Halo 2 is a broken-ish game that is best played on the PC at the moment, if you can pick up a copy and get it to work in DX10 mode it's actually an alright game.... the original Xbox version was a bit shoddy looking graphically so you can either wait for the re-release (I will buy it) or grab a cheap PC copy. The PC copy will link with your Live ID and will grant achievements, that is the best thing about it really. It's fairly central to the storyline, it explains why suddenly the enemies change from Elites in Halo to Brutes in Halo 3 onwards, and if you can forget the comical portrayal of the Covenant (thanks Microsoft for trying to re-create Gremlins 2) it's a good bit of narrative.

It also sets up the events of Halo 3; Halo 3 begins precisely at the moment Halo 2 ends, mainly because Halo 3's script is mostly material that was cut from the end of Halo 2. The two games merge into one story perfectly, so yeah I'd consider it important.

Also don't forget Halo: ODST! You can pick it up for pennies on eBay and play the fairly repetitive storyline about ONI in some city somewhere, with the worst urban planning department in the known universe.

Got this a couple of pennies cheaper from Zavvi (with their 10% off voucher + Quidco), but for those without a voucher this is definitely the best deal available. Heat!
