That's utter rubbish. It's any store within a mile radius. Is there no other GS nearby?

I had the same problem last time I tried.

Might try again as it has been a few months. Just need to convince my friend to part with his copy Resident Evil 5 to put towards the trade in

the 1 gamestation by me will try everything 2 avoid price matching. but a different 1 further away couldnt be more helpfull, so guess its down to the owner.

But Gamestation is owned by Game so surely they have a corporate policy rather than a willy nilly store manager policy. Also isn't this game slightly cheaper at places like Amazon and Coolshop? Suppose if you're heading to a supermarket anyway its worth paying a couple of extra pence not to have to wait for royal mail to get their acts together!

I used to work for Gamestation, we never price matched supermarkets, and yes the stores tend to make it up as they go along most of the time.

I was there when the change was made, Game cannot enforce its policies and work practices on Gamestation or it would have a monopoly and would have to close a large percentage of stores, so while the money goes to one place they are run as separate companies.

I would like to see some privately owned game shops instead of these dickfaced companies liked Game and Gamestation. Why is everything a big corporation suddenly!!!?

Well worth it at that price. Having a blast... though it's either harder or I suck more than I used to at this sort of game. :D

I worked at an independent, we had a roaring trade until Game and Gamestation decided to start offering preowned. They didn't offer as much but always had more copies of the latest titles, which of course led to our preowned stock starting to dry up. Of course internet pricing has been the second kick in the teeth for indies.

In ten years we'll be even more upset when we're stuck with download only...

Because everyone now shops at these corporates and ignores the smaller stores.

i'm 2-3 hours into this game and i have to say i'm not overly impressed by it (despite loving the orginal 3 halo games)

the night levels are awful, just plain boring - day levels are better but i was just never pulled in by the story (which doesn't the epic grandness of the orginals) and non of the characters are remotely as likeable as cortona.

rent it don't buy it save your money for the next COD

This is what I'm doing.

Roll on COD MW2!

if it is anything as good as halo 3, then i shall get it.

Got this game, its a very good game but not that disimilar from Halo 3. its essentially a very overpriced add-on to halo. A much more appropriate price would be £10 - £20 . £30+ is a total rip considering it doesnt even have matchmaking, though there might be a patch at some point
