With Staff Discount it's damn appealing. Work with Limited Edit?
#5
If I cancel my original preorder can I use the code on the same e-mail or not?

Hmmm. I've not ordered from them before and I'm not sure how they do for release day delivery. There's certainly no 'promise' on there, so can anyone please tell me from past experience how they've performed with pre-orders?

Delivery arrives ON the release date.

Hot. Pre-ordered thanks. My plan was to pop into Morrisons at opening at release day, hope for a price war (and 10% staff discount ;) ) pick up a copy or maybe two depending on price, head in to uni for an hour, then play for 36 hours straight. This has now changed my plans. If the Tesco order arrives on Monday, good times. If its not here by 9 am Tuesday, I go to Morrisons and buy a copy, and sell the Tesco preorder for a £10 profit on Playtrade. cheers OP :)

Cnt wait for this after finishing the campaign, dnt know where to begin on the other features. overwelming amount of content, and at this price even better.

i hope supermarkets do similar deals like this instore on launch.

Are you referring to the misprices for Battlefield BC 2 and L4D2? Or are these innocent orders where you weren't trying to take advantage of an accidental misprice?

Personally i won't be using them because they sent me a damaged, unsealed game and then never ****ing responded when i made a complaint!

Thanks just ordered for my brother, £25 quid after quidco without having to queue or runaround the local supermarkets trying to find stock

The ability to move weapons and stuff around the map is pretty good.
If they had included an actual map creator like Far Cry Instincts I would have been impressed.
#18
nice! I can;t wait for it to come out! s

Worth cancelling my pre-order of this which was around £32, with £3 cashback on TCB?

I would, around £4 cheaper here.

I just finished playing all of the halo games for the first time over the last few weeks. Though i liked them, can't say i see how there's so much hype for them; there's nothing stand-outish about them. In fact, the lack of an aim-down-sight ability in a modern day FPS is sloppy game design (though more understandable in the earlier games).

As such, i'll give reach pre orders a "meh" and wait 6 months until it's cheaper and worth the money i pay. I doubt it'll be a bad game, in fact I'm sure I'll really enjoy it but for me it's one of those games i can wait for and if i never got to play it i wouldn't be TOO downed about it (just a little).

Ugh, now I remember why i've never used Tesco before. It always kicks up a fuss with my debit card. Great price though.

Yeah, it doesnt even take Visa Electron (most sites usually recognise them as credit cards) :(

I managed to pay a mate in advance to use his credit card on his account, ordered the ltd edition with the code, and after quidco its less than 40 quid. Not too bad tbh :)

Not bothered about the recon helmet thing, looks ugly as hell, as well as the fact that so many millions of players will be using it on day one I'll end up hating it almost as much as I hate Justin Beibler.

Wouldn't take my Electron... Then MasterSecureCodeRubbishBallAche kicked in with credit card. Such a pain!!!

Got it in the end ;)

HOT. Period.
#35
Really wasnt planning on getting this, but i might as well get it for £25 and take advantage of firefight mode/etc. whilst my mates still own the game, then i can always trade it in a month later

Doubt it'll drop to this price after release until about 6 months later, and this is about as cheap as it'll be on release day i think...

Heated, cheers a lot for this post :)
#36
Just ordered. Cheers.

Also quick question, how do you cancel a order on Tesco Entertainment as currently it wont let me cancel my old £32 order.

Sent them an email asking to cancel to save them and me the trouble of me from sending it back.
#37
I ordered when it was slightly more expensive this during August, does anyone know how the pre-order price promise works?
#38
Great deal, thanks :)
#39
