You can get ODST for £5 when bought with this too.

Worth it for Mafia since it's out next Friday.

Less so for Halo because they take money so early,
#5
Not as good as the tesco offer but pretty dam good price.
#6

Best price around now so heated up.

£5 for ODST is well worth the money too! I'm currently replaying this game as I need to get some achievements off it. It's not best game of the Halo franchise, but Firefight mode & the H3 multi player disc is worth the price alone.

I personally think this will trump H3 in all areas. The new Firefight mode & Forge 2 look immense, I can't wait for this game :D

Cheers OP, preordered + a £5 copy of ODST
#13
i dont think it will be as good as h3, maybe less competitive i think?
#14
Seeing as it will be the latest one it wont be less competitive i think

Hahahaha I'm guessing you didn't play the Beta? Bungie made huge steps to make this game the most competitive, balanced and fun yet. Totally nailed it. Blows H3 out the water, even Halo 1.

Heat added, pre-ordered.

ordered both. cheers

Nice! I'm going to hold of a few days before I preorder though, see if any other deals come out, if not then Argos is top of my list for preordering from.
#18
Ordered, thanks man
#19
Anyone know what Argos are like for pre-orders?

Do they arrive on the release date?
#20
Brilliant - ordered and waiting :)
#21
I can confirm that Argos always despatch preorder releases a few days before release to make sure it gets there either on or before release. One of my friends got his game 2 days before release.

meh, i'll wait till next year to pick this up

Not worth paying £30 for the single player campaign, which will no doubt be short as hell as most are these days, where as the multiplayer has been virtually the same since halo 2.

They can add all the jetpacks and shiny lighting effects they want, the multiplayer will still be a boring mess aimed at quibbling 10 year olds on XBL.

Well surmised.
But because of my friends poor taste I'm gonna have to buy it :/
At least I have Crackdown 2 to get rid of though...(for trade in)

Yeh thought the beta was just a massive let down. The lack of customisation, tired graphics, shields and lag just seem so dated.

The reason to get this is if you like trash talking with yanks, and losing to them because they will get host and lag box you to death :)

Oh and I guess you might play the campaign... but isn't that just an added bonus on FPSers these days?

Still a good price mind :)

It's now £37.99 so taking 15% off makes it £32.29....
