Not amazing but well worth £10. Heat

The platinum edition is meant to have the extra 200pts DLC inlcuded, is it the same with the PAL classic one?

Eurogamer seems to think so. The 2 DLC packs seem to both be worth 800pts. each. I should be getting this delivered tomorrow and will confirm if they come with it.

EDIT: No need to wait, the silver sticker on the box clearly states "Download Card Included". Just zoom into GAME's box art image.

Horrible, crappy and dumbed down RTS and an insult to Ensemble Studios.

Can you use the points on anything? Would be cheaper than 2100 at £15

it will more than likely just be a code which means u get the packs etc for free, like with gears 2 special edition was just 2 codes for golden lancer, and extra maps
#8
The code will be for the DLC for the game, not for MSP. OP was just saying how much content was worth in MSP.

You missunderstand, this comes with the HALO WARS DLC included on a card which is worth 1600 points.

I can confirm it isn't points, but simply two codes which link you straight to the download. Still worth 1600 points though which is worth more than the game itself! :) I've rearranged the title for clarity.

Cracking game.

Those who're coming out with rubbish such as 'Dumbed down RTS' etc need to take a step back from the stupid pot and realise its on a CONSOLE.

If you want to play proper RTS's then play them on your PC. Halo Wars works great as a console RTS because they have simplified it so that i works properly with the control system. Not just tried to swap the mouse for the 360 pad. C&C belongs on a PC. BFME belongs on a PC. Halo wars belongs on a console.

It's definitely not as "dumbed down" as some of you are making it out to be.

I quite like playing RTS on console, I recently downloaded C&C Retaliation for PS3 and PSP, and whilst they are fiddly and annoying at times, they are great fun. Awful graphics, but great fun.
Having said that an RTS that's been designed specifically for consoles can only be a good thing. I played Red Alert 3 demo for PS3 and liked it but won't buy it until it's less than a tenner. My PC is too old to run the PC version. an d the console version didn't scream "buy me".
As for Ensemble, it's a real shame that MS shut them down, I would have preferred their final game to have been Age of Empires IV, or Age of Mythology 2, but hey ho.
Great price for the full bundle.
