Great price if you like to waste energy. ;)
The equivalent light output LED bulb would be about £3-5 each, so weigh up the difference between the electricity savings and initial cost where these are 10p each.

LED pay back time is often long, no different here.
Not something I generally consider as I dislike tungsten light.

I got some led G4 and lights from Screwfix only recently - they flicker loads. Will be returning. I have the same problem with these and the g9.

Can anyone recommend some decent led g9 & g4's

G4 are 12v, did you change the transformer to an led driver? G9 are mains voltage though leds often flicker if dimmed (even when using a specific led dimmer).

Sorry, should have been more clear.

I've two sets of lights. One that take g9 and the other takes G4's. Struggling finding decent quality leds for these.

It's clear enough to me, G4 and G9 lamps run on different voltages. My question stands, did you change the G4 transformer? G9 are available from Philips... http://www.screwfix.com/p/philips-led-capsule-lamp-g9-204lm-230v-2-5w/8620J?kpid=KINASEKPID&cm_mmc=GoogleLocal-_-Datafeed-_-Electrical%20and%20Lighting&cm_mmc=Google-_-Product%20Listing%20Ads-_-Sales%20Tracking-_-sales%20tracking%20url&gclid=Cj0KEQiAnb3DBRCX2ZnSnMyO9dIBEiQAOcXYH30TbGpHpS4lWXkmMv5E6J_3edLvWQlslHECdUBfMjAaAk0G8P8HAQ
though they're not dimmable (and LEDs need specific dimmers.

G4's are in wall lights off the mains, no driver.

G4 bulbs are 12v, so would need some form of transformer in the fitting or separate to stop down the 240v to 12v
