This halogen uplighter with metallic silver effect is a great addition to any modern living room.

rubbish lamp - but for a quid bargain

Heat added.

None available at my local store (Which is literally a 3 min walk!).
Shame, I had an idea to place four in strategic positions.

The power this lamp uses is close to the power of eight low energy lamps.

The socket is unlikely to take any low energy fitting.

If they paid you to take it - and you used it often - it would still cost more than a lamp liked but thought was too expensive - if it could run on low energy bulbs, or the new LED fittings.

great find. good bargain...

There are none left in Doncaster B & Q. My partner got 5 with a staff discount so 80p each. They also have the bulbs which go in them for 25p each.

Agree with the above - cheap lamp but you will pay dearly with the electricity it uses - which may rise in price by 60% over the next couple of years.

bargain price
unlike electricity
voted hot and repped!

Unfortunately not available online anymore and none in either of my local stores. No intention of using them though. At £1, it's worth it for the materials they would provide alone for tinkering purposes. Still hot if you can get them.

just put them up, it is actually not to bad, it is quite bright. real bargain for £1. use them in conservatory, don't use that often, so, wont use too much energy :)

I managed to grab the last 5 available in York, - so these have now sold out everywhere in York stores.
