Now I'm torn between two products, this and the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 6000:

Could anyone comment to which would be the most suitable keyboard and mouse set-up (for someone who uses it for general work and rare instances of gaming)?

Thanks!

If anyone was concerned about vista compatibility, the product page on the Hama site says it is:

Mouse is too block shaped it will be like using a pack of cards as a mouse.

no, it flattens for travel but otherwise you can rotate it like so:

is this rechargeable? Or many batteries does it require..cant seem to find it anywhere..
#13
i like it all, except for that stupid dongle sticking out of the side of the mouse - poor design!
#14
I believe the dongle can be stored in the mouse ! it does not stick out like this as the pic may suggest as you need to plug the dongle into a spare usb on your computer.
#15
Good deal but my god that mouse is hideous and looks like it would be awful to hold and use.
#16
interesting looking ;)

lol it just stores in the mouse as its meant to be quite portable (i.e flatten the mouse, store the dongle and take it with your laptop). otherwise, the dongle goes in your computer.
#18
yeah the mouse is totally offputting for me its hideous.
#19
vey nice. I'm tempted.
#20
Does this take AA batteries?
#21

Can't comment on the Hama stuff, but my 6000 is great.

P.S. that hama mouse looks strange!
