similar Manfrotto one is currently reduced to £62 at currys.

Currently £25 at both tesco direct and amazon.

But even better cos Tesco direct has a code for £10 off a £40 spend, so if you have a mate that wants one or like me you wanted some other stuff you can take avantage of thius code. I got this tripod a water butt and plant foot and weed killer for £35.

Bought from Amazon had to send it back as the plate came loose and started to move about when clamped in place :(

Thats the mini version which is £19.75 delivered from Amazon.

The one in the WEX link only extends to 117cm but folds upto 39.5cm and weighs only 740g which maybe ideal for certain people

I would prefer a good deal like a reduced Manfrotto :)

Some of the one star reviews on amazon seem to refer to the clips being prone to breaking and other issues. I'll stick to my Manfrotto MKC3-H01

REALLY can't compare this to a Manfrotto!

Can I post a really specific deal because I can buy manfrotto equipment at cost price??

Got one of these for my K5 Pentax, its pretty good no problems holds the camera and lenses well. Manfrotto are nice but this is £25 , you pays your money and takes your choice.

What do you mean by the above? That just you can buy it at cost price, or you know somewhere that other people can buy for the same price?

I'll looking to upgrade my tripod so would be interested

Sorry, I can get them at cost of manufacture price but I was trying to be funny (kind of backfired) by poking a snook at some of the other deals you see on here sometimes :(

Bought this tripod at the qvc outlet store for £18 last year. Really good and love the fact can reverse the top and bottom for top-down photography shots. Heat added.

Hama tripods tend to be pretty good for their price. I wouldn't use it for a good lens/camera combo, instead the Manfrotto compact mkc3-h01 isn't much more.

Heat added for the price.
