Perhaps if you shop around you could get these cheaper, but they seem so hard to come-by these days. I grabbed one at a local general shop yesterday for my son as they were no-where to be seen last year around here. Didnt cost as much but was more basic.

Wow thats expensive!! There are shedloads of sledges in my local asda for £5 each :D

I've checked on-line and this is the cheapest price you can get this particular type (from what I can see). They are nearly £17 on Amazon. Think its cos of the brake/steering mechanism.

I only paid £7 for my son's yesterday but its more basic.

Bought one but took it back as it was cheap rubbish. Be warned, this is very small as well
