Good find.

You would be advised to check this fella in the flesh, as the one in my Tesco store didn't look anything like the picture, it was nasty and cheap looking. Good price for a leather-faced chair, but it certainly wasn't to my taste (and I'm not discerning at all, I'm well cheap!) and it may not be to others.

Me too!
But the one I have linked a picture to is the one I was able to test out before buying, and felt good to me, it looks like the one in the picture above!
There was an even cheaper one without arms for approx £7!!

I've been after a chair for a while but all I could find was £50-£90 chairs in staples, this isn't any worse than the chairs in there and has the same features, and at a fraction of the price.

I never saw the £7 one...being the cheapskate I am I'd have probably bought it regardless of how rubbish it might have been! However the one in our store (Dundee) was all crumpled looking. Perhaps it wasn't assembled correctly, but it didn't impress when I saw it. I'd be happy to give it the benefit of the doubt though and assume that it was just a one-off duffer.

I bought one of these last time.. It was rubbish..If fact it is sitting in the cellar.. I would give it to freecycle but it would be embarrissing..

Also only goes up and down there is no tilt

This one does tilt and lock (although doesn't lock fully tilted back), you must have had the v1 and this is the updated v2 ?!?

Terrible chair. I had this a while ago and as the backrest is fully supported by the armrests the armrests take all of the weight and eventually snapped on me. Exchanged for another and that did the same as the previous one. It looks cheap and horrible too. Don't bother.

purchased one for my teenage son last christmas, he loves it and its still going strong....
absolutely no problems with it and still looks like new over a year on.

Tempting, I'm in need of a new computer chair as my last 2 from Argos are wrecked - And for £20, I won't be too upset if it breaks after a year :)

I've just put mine together and its even better than expected, only took 15 minutes (using an electric screwdriver with the correct torx bit rather than the included Allen Key).

Sat in it now :) Much better than my old chair :)

I can't see how any part on it could break or wear out when used for my normal computer use, others must have been doing unmentionable things in the old v1 chairs!!

Same problem, arm snapped and the chair is now useless. Tried to return it but because I ordered it in a package with a table they wouldnt take it  Get one on viking, had theirs for years and had no problems.
