Thanks Op! Ordered the vegetarian one, not sure whether to go for cupcakes or deserts... Hmm!

I'm just so sad that the American "cupcake" is replacing our own lovely name "fairy cake". I may have to start a petition to bring back fairy cakes!!!!

Lovely book though, and after reading the reviews I think I'll buy one, the savoury ones sound amazing! H & R :)

If anyone lives near a Works try there, they had these very cakestands on sale for £5.99:

http://www.theworks.co.uk/storelocator.asp

Hope this helps and happy cake baking.

Ps also a few tips:), if you're icing the cakes to get swirly icing, start at the middle and work your way out, then go back and start on the third swirl and work inwards to start your peak. Stop applying pressure shortly before you want the icing to stop. Holding your nozzle or tip away from the cake so there's some icing hanging out is the best way to do it so you can see where the icing or buttercream is going.

Hope this helps.
