It hurts.

Get BlanX, much more Expensive but works !!

apparently the fluoride content in this toothpaste is low for us brits but fine for the americans due to a difference in the water.
#8
Too fizzy for my liking and yes, lower fluoride content. Checked on the one I bought in Home Bargains. Something like 1100 ppm compared to Signal's 1450 ppm.

Great, thanks! Not quite as cheap as 0p at Tescos though! [during the DOTD]

This is rubbish only Colgate Total fights gum disease (with Triclosan although other antibacterial agents were previously found in Asda's silver boxed 'total'-like equivalent).

Good stuff :-)

Dunno about you lot, but my dentist strongly recommends against using whitening toothpastes, because they're so abrasive, they damage the enamel.

In conclusion, the present study was designed to measure the effect of triclosan formulated in a non-fluoride or fluoride toothpaste in an in vitro bacterial demineralization model. An effect was found when enamel was used to simulate the oral binding site and when the demineralization conditions were relatively mild. Under more severe conditions or in combination with fluoride no effect was observed. When the bacterial suspension was used to simulate the oral reservoir triclosan did not increase the efficacy of the toothpastes, probably because a possible antimicrobial effect was not additive to the effect of other antimicrobial compounds of the toothpaste or to fluoride.
