Hancock DVD £2.93 delivered @ HMV

There are heroes... There are superheroes... And then there's... Hancock.
Will Smith stars as Hancock - a edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood guy whose well-intentioned heroics, might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough - as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn't the kind of man who cares what other people think - until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all.

Cold, it was a rubbish film and should be 99p

Disappointed! I thought this would be Tony Hancock, a real comedian.

Not a great film, but at least the main protagonist is slightly different to your usual superhero. Can't really go wrong with it at £2.93 - that's what it's worth, and Christmas is coming up.

Heat added.

watch the trailer and you've seen all the good bits of the movie (whale bit admittedly cracks me up). shame as it's got some good ideas and is definitely non-standard superhero fare, but the second half especially is a snoozefest.

Utter rubbish, wouldn't watch it again if you paid me

I meant more in the sense as a simple gift for any teenagers you might be buying for

However, if you really want me to buy a copy for you...

Good price, rubbish film.

Here's my take on it. Great concept for a film ... an inept superhero in need of a PR make-over. Absolutely dire execution. Watched it then instantly sold it on ebay. Really not worth £2.93 ... put the money towards a decent film.

Freezing as Will Smith is awful.Tony Hancock at £2.93 would be hot,hot and more hot. :)

Didn't even finish watching this, second half is truly dire
