There are heroes... there are superheroes... and then there's Hancock (Will Smith). With great power comes great responsibility - everyone knows that - everyone, that is, but Hancock. Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock's well-intentioned heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough - as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn't the kind of man who cares what other people think - until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Hancock's greatest challenge yet - and a task that may prove impossible as Ray's wife, Mary (Charlize Theron), insists that he's a lost cause.

One of the poorest movies I've EVER seen.
#2
I thought it was a long lost gem from Tony:-D
#3
Han what?
#4
I thought this film was a lot better than the reviews and indeed the trailer had led me to believe. Not perfect by any stretch but perfectly watchable.
#5
HORRID film

I was hoping for so much more.

Watched this with the kids and we all reallr enjoyed it.

Very funny and not too predictable well worth this price although I got mine from
http://www.movie2u.com the DVDs take about 3 weeks to arrive but at $9.00 (£4.80) each they are great value when you order a few new releases (normally as they arrive at the cinema here) Shipping costs $6.70 (£3.50) for one or a lot. so order lots.
#7
are they not copies though?

Having had a very quick look I'm sure there must be something dodgy about movie2u.com and a few more seconds of googling confirms my suspicions... looks like they are selling bootlegs - the same stuff you can download from the net depending on your views on video piracy.

I wouldn't pay 50p for this film.

so you are paying £4.80 [+ £3.50] for a pirate copy? you know that you can just download it off the net? or wait a couple of moths to download the HD version.

dont bother im p****d that i paid £6.70 a the cinema to watch it
actually the first half is OK
#13
I liked it! *hides*

I normally love Will Smith. However this movie was very poor. The plot was unbelievable( not the fact he is a superhero but more the relationships within the film) They could have done so much more with a drunk superhero.
I was hoping for so much more. Don't buy this. Wait until its on tv if you want to see it.
#15
lol. spent over £20 in the cinema, worth 20p, at best.

Watched this a few days ago.......could barely keep my eyes open ......where was the plot??? I can’t believe Will Smith actually read the script before agreeing to act in it...........
