IF YOU WEAR A LOT OF SUITS (LIKE ME!!) YOU NEED SOME DECENT SHOES LIKE THESE TO SET IT OFF!

Bought many shoes from this company before; they are superb! And this current deal is just incredible!

You have to add 2 pairs to the basket to get the offer - or it comes up with a much higher price. Use the link because if you go to the site normally, they don't have many shoes on at these prices, if any!

Designed to look good with formal or casual wear, Samuel Windsor real leather shoes are a vital addition to any man’s wardrobe. Handmade with premium-grade natural materials, these real leather classic shoes will stay looking good and wear brilliantly for many years.

Have a pair of their brown suede lace up chukka boots and they are excellent.

That's nonsense!
#10
reviews are mixed if you read through them
#11
Pretty scary reviews.
#12
they look cheap from their site even though traditional styles!
#13
Ordered. Handmade leather. too hard to resist. Delivery is £4.95
#14
I tink a lot of people see anything reasonably priced as "rubbish". Or they have no idea what they're talking about.

And its usually 2 pairs for £60, or £40 each.
#15
these are fairly decent shoes. i have had them and they have not fallen apart. the heel has worn out but that is probably because of the way i walk
#16
The are the worst shoes I have ever purchased. Ended up at the charity shop after only a couple or wears.
#17
I ordered a pair at £35 on the last deal I saw on here - First pair seemed fine except they sent the wrong size!!! After a further 2 weeks I received the right size, but the shoes were dusty / filthy and seemed to have some sort of mould growing in them!!!
I sent them back for a refund second time........ never again!
#18
i bet these are made in india like all other shoes which do not set them apart from the standard suit shoes
#19
hand made by who for £20 a pair ? you dont have to be a brain surgeon to work out where these must come from with overheads so cheap they could do it .....

What's wrong if they are made in India? Indian workmanship on leather is classed as one of the best in the world - that's if you are prepared to pay for it!!

These shoes are very poor quality and the £40 will be better spent in shoe express they are that bad IMO. Absolutley dreadful, you will find that the reviews on the site are generally good because they do not allow negative reviews, they would rather refund than give the consumer a balanced view. You will find the heels separate within a fortnight, the colouring comes off the heels within a week and the leather grain is poor. I may come across as bitter but no one should be able to sell this rubbish
#22
I bought two pair for about £40 last time and they do not keep their looks at all. The sole holed quicker than any other leather shoe I've had. Not good quality at all in my experience. As usual you get what you pay for.
#23
I am seriously starting to think some posters are agenda-driven. One of the best ways to recognise the better/genuine posters were from the post count, but somehow I can't do that under the new setup.

Figured out how to view post count.

Have been wearing them for a few years. I usually get 2 for £60 (£30 each). They can be a bit shiny to start off with, but they gradually wear in. Definitely worth a spin. Seems pointless spending around £100.00 or so on a pair of loakes and then £30.00 or so quite often to get them re-heeled or re-soled with these on offer.
#26
Can only offer my personal experience but I bought two pairs on one of the Samuel Windsor deals (and there is always a Samuel Windsor deal! Shoes looked great was really pleased when they arrived but within 3 months both pairs were in the bin:(

Stiching came away allowing the soles to separate. The inner sole broke up and the heel on one shoe fell off! These are undoubtedly cheap and if you need something to go with your wedding or interview suit then go for it but if you actually want to wear them I would look elsewhere.

I actually replaced these with a £20 pair from Tescos because i was skint that month and they are still going strong over a year later. Cheap doesn't have to be bad....

I have to respectfully disagreee Digger - i get around 2 years before repairs from loakes and I wear 5 days a week. To compare the quality of these to loakes or any other makes at the same price point just isn't comparing apples with apples. I appreciate we all have different budgets and that will drive our choices

Always weary (I'll check that spelling later) of buying shoes I've not tried on.
#29
My husband has bought these shoes before for 2 for £ 60 , they were superb quality. He has now ordered some more at this bargain price .Fab shoes.
#30
YYou get what you pay for. I bought two of their pairs in the past. Utter junk. Returned one pair and the replacement was just as bad. Voted cold since with daily wear you will get 2-3 months use max.
#31
if you normally buy loakes or classic shoe maunufacturers of that ilk - forget it. The two pairs I got were okay, the soles were poorly dyed and I never felt they looked entirely smart, from new.

....but they are well priced.
#32
I am with the naysayers on this outfit.

I bought two pairs of chelsea boots at a reasonable price. Took a while (2 months) before I got to the wearing the second pair. Imagine my joy to find that they had a squeak like bath-time duck.

Getting back onto customer services was a joke. Oh- you had to get back to us within a week of delivery. I have had better service from oiks down the market.

Should have Caveat Emptor right across this "deal".

YMMV
#33
Love it. Heat added. Cheers
#34
Am I missing something?

#35

Quidco refers to http://www.samuel-windsor.co.uk NOT swshoes.co.uk which is where this deal links to.....little bit fishy if you ask me.....they have shoes on their main site cheaper than on swhoes.

Also the come with a shoe horn a shoe stretcher and a nice cloth bag.
#39
Had about 6 pairs of Oxfords. Actually been really impressed. that said, some bad reviews!

Have ordered two pairs of boots a couple of years ago and more recently two pairs of shoes. Excellent quality, can't complain at all for the price.
I did buy some "Hunter" type wellies from them that the heel fell off after a few weeks. Contacted customer service and they immediately refunded me. No worries.
