Thanks, I am useless on this.

Looks like a good deal, but I am mechanically inept and always leave it to the bike shop (not Halfords)

I built a bike from scratch a few years ago and I am not overly technical. Really nice feeling of achievement when it's done. Only took a few hours from start to finish once I had all the parts.

I used a Merlin Cycles Malt 1 frame, which would be of similar quality to this I would think. The frame cost £99 when I did mine but it seems a fair bit more expensive now:

This deal seems brilliant for the money, hot from me.

I'm getting that feeling too. It's just beginning to make me doubt whether it was worth doing as costs are at near £200 now. But when I see the kind of quality built bikes are in which cost £200 I see what I'm doing is worth it. I got some good shocks for very cheap, £54.95 for 2011 Suntour XCR LockOuts.
Manufactured bike with those forks cost upwards of £300.

Don't get too hung up on what you can buy ready built, just enjoy building it and riding it, it's definitely worth it.
