Thanks I thought would try it lol :)

Does this tell the time, all day for many days? Even the dumped Pebble can do this at a fraction of the price.
Or am I getting confused by the Watch in iWatch?

They do get an average of two days before a charge, has been this way since Watch OS 3.1

I don't get the issue with the charging element, most people with a smart phone already charge their phone every night, is it really so hard plugging in the Watch at the same time?

It takes just over an hour to hit 80% charge, so if you want to wear at night to track your sleep pattern etc just plug it in in the morning whilst having a shower and breakfast or at night whilst watching TV.

Will stick with my rolex thanks.

Coque.
Gonna add fuel to the fire here but I've concluded (from extensive testing and wearing stuff on my wrist!), I believe the best 'fitness' smart watch combined (because if you're not into fitness it's a bit pointless) is the Garmin Fenix 3, it has a proper GPS, it will last 2-4 weeks in watch mode, it does smart notifications, can run apps (but useful ones) and looks like a half decent watch with that round face and transflective display. The Apple Watch is good for a small niche of people, and the tech is clever but I just got so fed up of charging it daily and then leaving the charger somewhere once which basically disabled it until I could get it back.

Fitbit Charge HR Wireless Activity Tracker Wristband - Small (Reserve) £48.74 @ Handtec

Is this fitbit waterproof? I know the flex 2 is.

who deals with faults ?? the manufacturer or this seller??
Fitbit deals with any issues after purchase and their customer service is fantastic, the 'bubbling' is a common and well known problem which occurs after about 6months (I use mine everyday), as said previously an email to customer service and they immediately dispatch you a replacement, I am on my 3rd but I still highly recommend them and likewise I'll just keep getting a new 1 every 6/7 months.
Careful with the smaller size.

It's really small!

I'm a slim size 8/10 female and went for the large one.

It's a good product but the novelty has worn off now and I don't use it properly any more.

Still cheaper on ebay for a new one
Or charger
Doesn't come with a cable
dropped as low as £7.50 in the last few days so took a punt. it's smaller than I'd thought but definitely adds some low end to the audio. as long as you don't have unrealistic expectations then this is a great addition to a compatible phone. mine didn't come with a cable or plug, not sure if that's normal or if I've been stiffed.

I've not tried any optical (wrist based) hrm that's anywhere near as accurate or stable as the Garmin or polar ant straps ... is there any decent comparison online showing otherwise?
Try DC Rainmaker. He's very thorough on his reviews, and usually has comparison charts of various devices from the same run
hi I do follow dc rainmaker quite regularly and still not seen anything remotely comparable (accuracy stability) to a decent ant+ chests trap.. my ageing well used Garmin 410 is due for replacement and would like to get rid of the strap but haven't seen anything optical that's much good in comparison

there is nothing :\ If you want proper accuracy and not a gimmick that's not very precise then stick with chest strap :)

I think this is the same, and £24 cheaper.http://www.millets.co.uk/equipment/226765-fenix-3-watch-saphire-performer-bundle.html/807758/
I've not voted yet, until it's confirmed as the same.
This is HR version, and in your link - this is not HR version
HR ( I might be wrong) Heart rate monitor. Which is included in the link I mentioned.
I am afraid you are wrong. The Fenix you have referred to does not have the wrist based HR monitor which the Handtec one referred to in this thread does, as well as the chest based strap.

OK thanks, so this one reads the HR from the wrist. As I said, I hadn't voted until it was confirmed it was the same.

Yes, from the wrist, but also the option to use the (slightly) more accurate band with advanced running metrics

Well funnily enough i just got an email through telling me its back in stock........... at £435!

http://www.handtec.co.uk/garmin-fenix-3-sapphire-hr.html
Complete opposite to my experience. I ordered early on the Friday morning and it was delivered on the Saturday around lunch time. I wouldn't have any hesitation to order from them again!
I agree is a really great price. So much so that i bought one last week. I ordered it at about 4:15pm on a thursday. I noticed that the cut off time for next day delivery was at 4. I rang them up and they said they would try and get it out that day. 15 mins later i get a phone call saying its made it out that day and is on its way. I had email confirmation saying this even a tracking number. Then 20 mins later i get a phone call saying ohhh sorry the box has scratches and so does the watch as we open up every item before we send it out to check its ok. So we cant send you it and your order been cancled. To be fair to them, then refunded my money straight away. It was via PayPal i paid, i do wonder how quick they would of refunded my money if i paid via debit card. But from the phone call it was clear that it was **** and they never had any fenix 3's in stock at all. Just like a lot of other places that sell these cheep that say they are in stock, you order it, then all of a sudden its gonna be 12-24 days. Ive not had any other dealings with Handtec before, but my first time with them didnt go as planned. It now says on there website, watches are due in on the 6th. If you order one, at least use PayPal so its easier to put a claim in if it goes wrong.

Hope this helps someone.

Cold. I have a Sony compatible case with the magnetic charge dock exposed. None of the attachments work with it.
Worth investing in this or a magnetic charger otherwise over time the seals on the flap will fail.
I had to buy a replacement flap after 11 months.

Been available at Clove for a little while too. Couple of quid more but I'd rather deal with them than Handtec. Wouldn't personally buy an LG for more than £300 again - always feel a bit robbed a couple of months later when they have dropped by £200!

If you are an early adopter, yes you can get robbed. On the other hand, wait a few months and get £200 off and a flagship for only £300. What's not to like?

On the other side of the fence, those iOS people are still having to pay £600 retail even 6 months after release, (and that's only for the 16GB version without expandable storage!)

I'm one of those iOS people I'm afraid. I've just paid £439 in Game for an iPhone 6 Plus - a 16 month old phone - because the apps, services, software support and updates, as well as integration with my MacBook, add value to it beyond mere specifications. I do like Android but always feel like I'm fighting a losing battle to keep up with constant new hardware, and gradually every member of my family seems to be getting iPhones too! I also value wifi calling on EE too, and the only SIM free phone that supports it is the iPhone for some annoying reason.

I'm the same with Sony. releasing a flagship phone emery 6 months means my 2 year old. Z1 is not worth a lot.

The 810 throttles when it reaches a high temperature, the 808 does not. Previous poster is talking crap.

Nice phone but prettt laggy with the Snapdragon 808 and runs quite hot. Cameras ok but not the best.
Do you have one? Moto x style lags?
It's got heavy thermal throttling. The maximum CPU lowers pretty quickly after using it for a while due to thermal throttling. The 810 Is even worse. Qualcomm have messed up with the 808 and 810. This generation the Exynos is much more thermally efficient (although the bloatware on the Samsung phones causes it's own problems).
Yes but do you have one? Have you experienced this "lag" yourself? Throttling doesn't mean it throttles to unusable levels, it may just throttle from a high frequency to a slightly lower one. The 808 doesn't throttle much if at all according to my research.
