Anyone any idea how this rates compared to the HP w2207h?

The spec for it can be found at the following link:

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/ho/WF06a/20491-314293-314303-314303-314303-80720291.html

I plan to buy a new monitor, the one listed is cheaper, but can get the HP one for about £170 including Quidco, so any advice would be welcome! :-D

Cheers!

If you can pay a little bit more, I'd recomend the deal I posted a Dell 22inch monitor:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=199282
Because it does 2ms a bit faster than the 5 ms HP and also has DVI port aswell as the VGA, HDMI and 4 USB's plus a webcam.

Does the HP not have the USB hub? The 24" version definitely does.

The 22" HP has the big advantage of having a fully adjustable stand while the sp2208 is limited to tilt - I personally would take that over USB hubs and webcams any day.

the HP has a glossy screen, which is superb, as long as it doesnt sit opposite a window. I have one and I am very pleased with it. Also the HP has HDMI input, not DVI, which is a pain as you have to buy another cable, unless you already have one, or use vga, which is also ok

I got one of these from the clearence section on PC World Business for £99 the other week. Just tried it last night for the first time with my PS3 and it was great. You do notice the backlight halo along the top & bottom of the screen when the screen is dark but not really an issue. I'm very happy with it. The sound is quite quiet but if you have external speakers this isn't a problem. Also note no DVI socket just HDMI & VGA.
