Anyone try this on the PS3? Does it display 1080p?

If so I want one.

Thanks a lot for the link.

I've just had to return the 20 inch Dabs deal on here from last week for 99 as it was faulty.

I don't know anything about monitors but would be happy with something slughtly smaller if it si better. Does anyone know if this deal is better than this LG from play please - http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3441045/LG-L204WS-SF-20-Widescreen-TFT-Flat-Panel-Display/Product.html

I always thought LG were a good make, and not heard of HannsG - but like I said, I don't know much about monitors :)

its a good monitor (using it now) but and its a big but
this monitor is very poor at anything other than its native res (1680 x 1050)
you get vertical lines down the screen

but if you have a top graphics card then its a great monitor

Only one dead pixel? They surely won't let you return it for that. Normally their tends to be a minimum of 4 dead pixels clause on most TFT monitors.

Are you sure because on my 19" Samsung 940BW I can output the PS3 at 1920x1080 which has an image that is slightly distorted. So are you saying that this doesn't happen at all on this monitor?

What happens when you set the PS3 to 1080p please?

(Sorry for questioning your response, I just really wanted this monitor as an upgrade!)

It might accept a 1080p feed, but of course, its not going to be true 1080p, and you will get some distortion if it does, I guess its up to yourself whether you prefer 1080p scaled down by the monitor or 720p scaled up. But on a monitor of this size I don't think you'll see much of a difference.

It qualifies as HD ready (720p).

Good price for 22"

Any better than the neovo from Scan a few weeks ago as HannsG is a good brand isnt it but the neovo had a 3ms response and this 5 so its opinion time lol
#21

i want to use this for my xbox and as a tv is it worth it?

Cheers - I've learnt that now :)

That's why I wanted to know which will be the better monitor, this one, or the LG from play.

Anyone know please?
#23
I've got my PS3 and 360 connected to this (ps3 via hdmi and 360 via vga) and it does a great job - it's 720p not 1080p.

Bought mine from play less than a month ago so this is a good deal.

Your not going to be able to discern any difference between a 3ms and a 5ms, I doubt yuo could see a difference between a 3ms and an 8ms. I don't own a Hanns G personally, but I work at a kitchen design showroom and the majority of the designers' monitors are Hanns G, different models but all seem quite good in quality and picture.

ordered and heat added. Cheapest price online, and with a 3 yr warranty cant go far wrong...
#26
Arrived the next day - a good monitor in its max resolution.

The other half has taken to it like honey to the bee ha.

Want to buy a 22" LCD for a friend, this looks ideal for the price, however, the site states "No stock available, product ordered on demand". Any ideas if I order one they will be able source it (wondering if this was displayed for those people that have odered and received)? Will give them a call tomorrow.
#28
it was definately 'In Stock' when I ordered. They have maybe run out from the number of folk buying from them.
