Goodness, a 23 foot monitor.

What are the Hannspree monitors like? Worth paying a bit more for a Samsung?
#3

i think they ok dont know any who have used them, their monitors are branded hanspree or HannsG, taiwanese company. Good deal nice to see an alternative to the dabs value one and the ones from Benq. Obviously samsung are better, what you pay for is what you get. You pay more for samsung or LG and you expect qaulity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HannStar_Display_Corporation

I had two Hannspree 19" and they are excellent LCD, never has any problem with them.

HannsXXXXXX screens are good whether they come with a hanspree or HannsG badge on the front.
The speakers will be awful so anyone with aspirations of using as a telly via the HDMI .. get some speakers.
H+R added.

Apart from the HDMI input is this monitor much better that the Digimate from Ebuyer below:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/471388/digimate-l-2362wd-23-tft-monitor-fu/

It was at £109 but has gone up a bit to £119 delivered. Looking for a new monitor at the moment.

The Hanns range is very good, I have used the Hanns G model and the Hannspree both 22". Found that the quality on the later was better.

My brother has the 28" and it's fantastic.

If you buy this you wont be dissappointed.

Obviously samsung are better]
That' not true. Much like Sony, Samsung also sell some crap screens, trading on the brand name rather than quality product. The top of the range models are of course excellent, the middle and bottom should be carefully compared to the comptiiton from LG and Hanspree, two huge suppliers to the PC market, and often £20-30 cheaper than a Samsung.

Odd that this has HDMI but no DVI

Maybe not a huge problem - but I would imagine some folks out there might like to have both a games consul and a PC left hooked up to this (digitally)

I really like the look of this for my xbox! What would be the cheapest way of getting freeview on this? I've been looking for a cheap freeview box with hdmi, vga or dvi output but can't find any. Can someone help me with this?

I have the same problem, but I already own a Freeview box. I think I'm just going to give up and get a monitor that accepts component cables so I can accept my freview RGB (I think???) cables. You can get adaptors and things but thy are norally quite expensive from what I've seen.

Seems a nice deal. Will it deffo work with the 360 and PS3?

Also a 24" BenQ Full HD panel with DVI too for £8 more.

I'm expecting delivery today, they're selling fast on OYYY's website! (44 left)

Yeah I had a look at the adapters too. They are like £80 for hdmi to scart!
