Stunning price for a 42". I dont think anyone in their right mind would expect Panasonic quality for this price. It's a shame there arent more user reviews out there as personal experience with this type of TV is often more valuable than a professional review that compares it to some ideal performance.

A deal similar to the £299 Samsung LE40D503 at Asda would be much preferable to this.

Aesthetically I think it looks really good as well, it looks like it's worth a lot more than the price!

Plus the recording and two year warranty are two nice extras.

Would be an ideal set if you are going to be using for HD video or gaming.

I have the 32" full HD unit (£199 from ebuyer) and I think it is astonishing value for money. I also got 2 yr warranty.

Highly recommended.

I have a hannspree tv that I am about to upgrade. Always had a great picture.

Developed a fault after four years, which has gotten progressively worse. Not sure whether that is a good or bad lifespan for a tv these days.

I had an Hannspree monitor not so long a go, it lasted about two years, Quality was good enough though.

Thanks for your reviews dooper, however, the price for the LE40D503 is not really coming back down to £299. I think I'm going to purchase this Hannspree. A mate had one and it looks good. :)

Not so sure why everybody is so obsessed with size. I'd much rather have a good 32" with money left over, than a **** 40"

I have a Hannspree 32 inch 1080p TV

Pretty pleased with it... Sound could be better, not to worry if you have external speakers but picture is very good, lots of good reviews for recent Hannspree tvs on Amazon

My 37" Hannspree is going strong over 4 years now and several family members and friends have bought them after being impressed with the picture quality and build . Tempted to get one of these for the girlfriends house, ps3 on sdtv sucks.

Hanspree make great TV sets, not like the cheapo brands. They are pure quality in my eyes.
