Not tried the amp, but looks like a fantastic price for a tube amp and 1x12 cab! Nice practice rig.

As with the GA5, the GA5H is also fantastic for modding.

Foreign retailer.
Try getting customer service if it goes bust.

I could post half the contents of Thomann's site, as a lot of stuff is cheaper than I can buy it here, despite exchange rates now making it much more expensive than it used to be; it's one I know well, but buying abroad is a minefield, and might be well worth the risk for something costing a tenner, but past experience of getting something sorted that has been bought abroad isn't something I would repeat. Don't expect credit card companies to sort everything out either! :-(

GA5H would make a good number plate

I concur with that, and to be quite honest Thomann's customer service is superb. They are ten times better than most of the companies I've ever dealt with in the UK.

I could offer 10 year one, but if it's not enforceable, it's not worth the ink it isn't printed on!

If you fancy dealing through the German equivalent of the small claims court, then go ahead, personally, I buy here, it's a lot less bother.

I'v ordered all sorts from Thomann in the past, never had a problem so cant say what the customer service would be like if needed. They always seem to be cheeper for most things, and with things reduced like this you would be hard pressed to find any cheeper from a UK retailer.

Just "cast iron" stuff, low priced, eg. Brass mouthpieces!
Won't buy anything more fragile as I have had problems with foreign companies.

For relatively small savings it's just not worth the bother, return costs alone make foreign purchases madness, even if they are bing compliant.

It's irrelevant, if you can't go to the small claims court with a purchase, and it's more than you can comfortably afford to throw away, then don't buy abroad.

Even compliant companies (here too) can get difficult to deal with, and the final arbiter of a problem is by going to court, that's easy here, abroad it's totally impractical.

I completely understand where you're coming from. However, after doing a quick google, unfortunately the GA5 doesn’t seem to be available in the UK. I could be wrong of course.

dealt with Thomann for a lot of music stuff in the last 10 years or so.
never had a problem with anything they've sold me.
customer service is excellent and they'll happily answer email queries about the products and their 3 year service.

I'll add to that, I've never dealt with such a superb customer service as these guys, makes me embarrassed about UK customer services ! my lad had a problem with an amp he bought from them, covered by their 3 year warranty, you get your own customer service guy to liaise with, they arranged for pick up & delivered it back within a week,he was kept informed via text & email through-out the whole process & a follow up email to check everything was ok , cant rate them highly enough.

Thomann are renowned for being fantastic when it comes to customer service. I have had personal experience of their service over several years as a loyal customer and can honestly say they are a damn sight better than anywhere I've dealt with in the UK (with the exception of Marshall Amplification) :-)

However bad the customer service, the bailiffs wipe the smiles away!
