I just purchased these. Wanted these when I first built my PC back in February 2013, but back then £100 (Think it was higher) was too much so I had to cut back on my budget somehow so I ended up with Logitech Z323 speaker set which has served me well, but now is the time to upgrade especially at only £70 8)

Recently my free Amazon Prime trial is paying off pretty good too since I get free next day delivery :p
Cool Story.

Is there much difference between these and the newer model? Looks no, but what about performance?

always wanted a set of these, but always considered them too expensive, but at this price I would have snapped them up.....

but now put my PC through the TV and that feeds all audio out of a Bose system :)

for those that want great sound though - get these soundsticks

I have these, they are awesome. HK sound quality is top notch. Survived for 3 years and going strong, for this price go for it. I love them.
#14
Is it better than Edifier S330D?
#15
great speakers for PC use the only niggle is the shortness of the cables and they are terminated internally into the speakers they don't sound as good as my aego m 2.1 speakers but come close
#16
I was going to order these but Amazon had 13 bad reviews.Would they be better than my LOGITECH Z506.
#17
no wifi no bluetooth then pointless

And 342 5* reviews ;)

Remember cables? Those long string things that people use to connect different devices up? These speakers use those, so no worries, it's not pointless!

Comparisons are easily found using Google Search. From what I've read the Edifiers are nothing special.

20W subwoofer on these? I can't see it packing much of a punch. If you're more interested in performance, you can probably pick up some Logitech Z2300's for the same price.

no wifi no bluetooth, thank goodness.

If people are really concerned about the £140+ wireless version, at £69.99 there is significant left over cash to buy a bluetooth adaptor or wireless streamer in the future and Still save some cash! Great find OP :-)

Had these speakers for 3+ years now and they are great! Excellent price, have some heat OP!

seriously, with £5off Mastercard promo and those that were lucky enough to grab Bespoke offers, this really is a no-brainer

Do not need them. Just bought them :-)

Amazon sell for £20 extra normally. Is it as Amazing as people are making out?
#27
They've been £90-£100 for the last 3 years on amazon, so I'd say yes, it is a great deal.

I had an airport express (old version) gathering dust for ages (which can be picked up for really cheap), never expected to get something like this at a price comparable to the old computer speakers I had my eye on (which I was recently put off after comparing to other speakers)

Good for tv in the bedroom??
#29
Yea these are the nutz. Annoyingly no remote control so have to use the bottom button on the subwoofer.

Got to say the reviews are very revealing. I was about to take this deal, but am so glad I read the reviews. Strongly advise people always read the reviews. Heat added for the post all the same as the post itself was good, but stone cold frozen feeling for the manufacturers customer services
#34
Actually the john lewis set are wireless so not the same, but still a great price.
#35
Depends what they're used for. For movies and gaming, my Logitechs sound much better than these. These are better for music, but for the former they're lacking in base so gunshots, explosions, the roar in inception-- things that bring the movie to life -- don't sound quite right on these. Good price though.
#36
cheers op, just used my £50 of bespoke vouchers. they didn't last long!

I'll take these for £20.

AAAAH!!!! don't have mastercard myself
but ordered a second pair at the last minute using someone else's card/account
the old 5 off code had expired and I didn't bother searching around as didn't realise there was another valid one out there
now i'll have to find more stuff to waste money on to make the most of this code!!
