I own a pair of these speakers for my Mac computer and they sound fantastic. Great for music, DVD and video editing.

Put this offer up as a recommendation, plus it's the best price I have seen and from a reputable retailer Comet.

Definitely worth a look if you're looking for excellence from a brand.

What is the bass like on these?

hardly a bargain - play had them in stock until recently at £99.00 but are currently temp out of stock and several other respectable retailers have them at very similar price - eg amazon £102.16 delivered so will work out cheaper with fuel prices these days - unless I suppose you live next door to comet !

good product but not a deal

So, an out of stock item is cheaper AND it is more expensive elsewhere! What a constructive post :whistling:

I think it's excellent but depends what you're comparing it to. From friends who have other computer speakers mine still sound the best. There is a dial on the sub woofer so you can also control the bass level from there.

I listen to a lot of music through my iTunes on a Mac and have been really impressed with them. The jack fits into iPods etc.

Yes, delivered to your door for an extra 71p, this post would not be useful for anyone :whistling:

My point its they are good speakers but readily available delivered for less than 1% difference and cheaper to pick up say at richer sounds than this 'deal' - so in my mind it ain't a deal. If we all posted stuff that was good but at an common price point it would be "averagely priced uk products" not "hot deals"

This deal isnt a good price so isnt hot in my book.

Cheaper in richer sound Cold from me... See here

Really don't rate these speakers at all. There's MUCH better speakers for around about the same price.

If you're stuck for space and don't want a sub - but still want tons of bass - Creative Gigaworks T40.

i bought this speaker about 3 years ago for about 130. so i don't think this is a great price.

Currently use this set in my bedroom. Excellent speakers that are both excellent on sound quality and aesthetically please the eye.

Though I can help but fail to see the deal here - I bought this from (of all people!) Pixmania about 3-4 years ago for £95 delivered - surely these things depreciate over such time?

I have these speakers and I think the sound is excellent:thumbsup:

How does this compare to the baby audioengine 2's?

Hi all, I was going to buy these for my shop as they look great and sound is good. But I'm not sure how to extend the speakers wires?
Can anyone recommend any that can be. Or know how to extend these please? I'm a bit stuck.

You'll need a 3.5mm Stereo Extension Lead, something like this http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=11425
Have a look at this Forum for other brand/quality suggestions http://www.avforums.com/forums/headphones-headphone-amps/717808-headphone-extension-cable.html
Hope this helps.
