Is this not the same as the hut??
#5
yep, all listed under the hut deal.

but this has £3 off voucher?
#6
But you have to buy one more thing with asda.

If you're just after the Potter DVDs, the Hut works out cheaper long run with 10% quidco.
#7
Also none of these are in stock.

This may be a stupid question but do these HD-DVD play on non-HD DVD players & TVs - just losing some of the quality?? Thanks

Unfortunately NO, they need a dedicated HD player like the Toshiba ep30, or if you have an XBox360 the add on HD player for that.

These have been around since Jan at heavily discounted prices, hence the interest in the HD Dvd clearout bargains.

Okay - many thanks

narcist
Also none of these are in stock.

What happens if you spend over £25, get the discount and then they only supply some, not all.
Would you still get the £3 off what was left of the order OR would they renage and you loose the £3.
I ask because Play didnt deliver one dvd in my the £2 off £20 purchase, and applied their discount to that one which is still on back order.
If they dont supply I loose the £2 off I thought I would get.:x

yeah seems the same set up as the hut narcist. anyone know if asda and the hut are tied in together cos the sites look extremely similar and they seem to have all the same titles at the same prices

Now I know why they look the same - the Hut runs it for ASDA
"Who are thehut.com

Based in Northwich, Cheshire, thehut.com runs e-commerce operations for major retailers. For example, we built Asda's online retail site and manage the associated retail services, including negotiations with suppliers.

We also have our own website selling home entertainment products, such as books, DVDs and games. Founded only three years ago by Matthew Moulding and John Gallemore, the company's sales soared an average of 187% a year from £692,000 in 2005 to £5.7m in 2007.
Our clients

Alongside TheHut.com's own highly successful online retail site we run white label website's for a number of other retailers including ASDA, DSGi group and LOVEFiLM. We believe in investing in people and have developed a superb team of individuals with an unrivalled depth and breadth of specialist sector knowledge."

Just bought them all with the Matrix trilogy, a steal a 39.45 if you ask me and ready to go with my newly-purchased HD
dvd drive!

ASDA and the HUT are the same.
I buy from both. When you order from one, the other seems to know your details too.
They also send out IDENTICLE emails for "order confirmation", ""item delayed" and "item despatched".

Do you think you could buy for the Hut (to get Quidco) and use an Asda voucher to get the £3 off?????

Placed order on the 25th last week and just received this message :-

We are able to confirm that stock for your order is due to be sent to us shortly from our suppliers. This will arrive with us towards the end of next week and once we have received it we will arrange for your item (s) to be dispatched to you as quickly as possible.

I did get one earlier today saying that none of the DVD's I requested were in stock and would chase up with suppliers. Not gonna be happy if I get one next week saying they cannot supply them.

Really poor, wont be using Asda Entertainment/The Hut again.
