£7 instore Monday...

"Adolescent wizard-in-training Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling and learns more about the dark past of the boy who grew up to become Lord Voldemort in this, the sixth installment of the film series that originated from the writings of author J.K. Rowling. There was a time when Hogwarts was thought of as a safe haven, but thanks to Voldemort's tightening grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds, that simply isn't the case anymore. Suspecting that the castle may even harbour an outright threat, Harry finds his investigation into the matter sidelined by Dumbledore's attempts to prepare him for the monumental battle looming ever closer on the horizon. In order to discover the key to Voldemort's defences, Dumbledore enlists the aid of resourceful yet unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, who may have a clue as to their enemy's Achilles' heel. Meanwhile, teenage hormones cause the students at Hogwarts to lose focus on their true mission. As Harry and Dean Thomas clash for the affections of the lovely Ginny, Romilda Vane attempts to woo Ron away from Lavender Brown with some particularly tasty chocolates. Even Hermione isn't immune from the love bug, though she tries her hardest to suppress her growing jealousy and keep her emotions bottled up. But there is one student who remains completely aloof from the romance blossoming all around, and he intends to leave a dark impression on his classmates. With tragedy looming ever closer, it begins to appear as if peace will prove elusive in Hogwarts for some time to come."

Is this the 2 disc edition?

bargain!

Well spied...spy! Cheapest online through find-dvd is £13.98 so £7 is the one that gets me rushing out to Sainsbury's on monday! Wonder if Tesco will come into the fray at their usual...£8 or £9 exactly? Heat added! :santa:
#5
sorry to seem doubtful but is there any proof of this? I dont wanna make the trip unnecessarily!
#6
ive got mine already lookin forward to watchin it soon!! u got a bargain there if u get it for that price, i have paid £13.99 but got a free gift.
#7
Great price but this film is awful. Enjoyed all the others but won't be parting with £7 for this I'm afraid
#8
Not a big fans of the HP films, but I do love the first viewing as it's great seeing the world and characters come alive and seeing it through the "eye's" of someone else.

Also, Jim Broadbent was superb in this film.

Who cares? I mean HP films are trashy. You go to the cinema knowing that. If you want to be critical, see some short films or indie stuff. Hats off to the director.

Obviously hot if true, especially if it is 2 disc. How do you know, OP? Do you work for them?
#11
It does seem unlikely given most sites are still charging 13.99 before the release. I might pop in on Monday just to check. So far all the new releases have been £8.99 or more instore.

If this is a big christmas release why reduce it so much? Hmmmm

Postage is free above £50. Simply order 8 copies and give as gifts to friends. :)

For me I will pop into store on monday.

Sorry to ever doubt this deal!!! It still seems crazy that one supermarket will be under charging most places by £7. Expect Asda and other supermarkets to follow suit. End of day this will pull people into stores to buy other things. ;)

Edit - Just spotted Asda doing it for £6.91 come Monday. Posted elsewhere on forum.

Does anyone know if it is one per customer in Sainsburys and ASDA as it is online?

ASDA are selling the double DVD @ £6.71 Nationwide.
Be quick, they are selling fast.:santa:

Got one today. Also recieved a voucher for £2 off either night at the museum 2, or ice age 3, recieved 2 of these vouchers, so guess its £2 off each movie :)

Spent over £10 though, so not sure if the voucher comes when you buy the harry potter dvd, or with a over £10 spend

ticket says valid until 24/12/09

Got one too, thanks to the OP - I had to laugh at Tesco with their £8 if you spend £30 nonsense, they've totally lost it on these supermarket deals if you ask me...

Went to my local store in Guildford. Some magic was at work because they had a power cut but the generator kept a few tills open. Fun fun fun. Eventually got my copy. Used some nectar points to get it down to £4.50.

2 disc version.

As for the spend 30 and get it for £8. HMV and Whsmiths are just as bad. HMV spend 10-15 in store and pay 10 when they sell it in online for 10 anyway.

As for Tesco I would think most customers probably spend £30 or so a week on shopping.

£6.71 in ASDA. Hubby got a copy this morning :)
#33
Got ours, thanks OP:thumbsup:
#34
Sorry was about to duplicate earlier post!

My local store i visited yesterday now appears to have none left on the shelf. Perhaps sold out in less than 2 days!! No more for rest of week maybe?
