That is a great price. Is it hardback or paperback?

Also, now that all seven books are out, I wonder kind of deals they'll be for the whole set...
#2
It's hardback.

It's also worth noting they have Chamber of Secrets also for £3 and it's hardback.
#3
Is there a catch?

This is a bloody heavy book, they must be making hardly any profit on this at all!
#4
Does anyone know where I can buy 'harry potter and the philosophers stone' for a good price?

Depends if you hardback or paperback?

Most sites are quoting around £4 for paperback where hardback is showing around £10.

I'd say cheapest I can find Hardback is on Teco.com for £7.79

It's not usually, but with the new one out the older ones usually get a resurgence in popularity as well.

Anyone?!

I know this is probably of little use to most, but for anyone in the Whitby area wanting this book, they had loads of them, all hardbacks in a book shop for just £2 this afternoon!!

The shop was on Church Street, but not The Whitby Bookshop, its the other book shop further down towards the 99 steps end on the left hand side just past the market square. Sorry, thats a big vague but may help someone :-D

For anyone wanting all 7 hardback books, the best price that I know of is £32.98 at the Redhouse http://www.redhouse.co.uk
(note: this is for the children's editions)

item codes are: HFP2 and HPU2
offer: The first six Harry Potter books for only £19.99 when you buy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for £12.99

For those just wanting book 7, this doesn't cover all known online bookstores, but it's a start...

#26
Thanks :)
went out and got the book today anyway because i got paid whoop
#27
Surfer90, just for laughs I downloaded three copies of the new book, and compared them to the book. Not only were they all completely different, none of them actually matched the paper book!!

In fact, I'm almost tempted to read them just to see how far off they are! Well, after I've read the original first...
#28
I downloaded the torrent and it was exactly the same as this copy of the book i've got :) ..cept there as more illustrations as it was an american copy i think that got leaked
#29
Has anybody received this yet ?
