Update - Now price matched at Amazon ( link below ).

Play £27.99

Follow the first six years of Harry Potter's matriculation at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with this box set that contains the original video releases of HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE, HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE, and HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. The films, based on the writings of author J.K. Rowling, chart Harry's progress as he discovers his magical powers, meets his soon-to-be two best friends, learns how to play the school sport, Quidditch, and begins to understand how the forces that killed his parents are still out to do him harm. In the sixth thrilling instalment, Harry returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling and learns more about the dark past of the boy who grew up to become his arch nemesis, Lord Voldemort. While trying to thwart Voldemort's evil plans and save both the Muggle and wizarding worlds from imminent disaster, Harry is struck by the love bug that seems to be going around Hogwarts. Fortunately, Dumbledore, his trusty mentor, is on hand to prepare him for the monumental battle that's looming ever closer.

Dont forget Topcashback or Quidco.

I've seen it recently in store for £28.

Do the films come in their own cases within a case...in other words can you just take them out of the 'box' and display them as normal individual titles?

...or is it some kind of unfolding digipack??

Its amazing how much difference £3 makes, I posted an instore deal the other week for £28 and it got little interest

films are being converted to 3d soon, along with star wars series -so ill probably hang back a few years to wait for all them (2020 maybe?) - get sick of buying the same films over and over ;)
#12
and 2.50 student discount that for some reason STILL works for me :)

i bought earlier in the year from HMV and they were individual cases, hope these are the same

I'm trying to tell myself to wait, it will be forever until the complete box set is released and even longer until it drops to a price like this.

Got these.
The HD transfer on the first two is not great but they get better and better as they go along.

New release Blu-Rays are still expensive but they are getting more and more in line with DVD prices, the players are dirt cheap, therefore more people are buying the discs. I don't know about everyone else but I don't like the thought of digital distribution, I know it will happen eventually, but I just love to "own stuff". There's nothing better than a good collection, 30 Blu-Rays for me now and they look great on the shelf! :D

Have they released new box sets after every film? What a waste.

Anyone else noticed that it took Harry Potter 7 books n 7 films to realise who the bad guy was n it took Scooby Doo 25 minutes?
#32
Great price I would still wait for my 7th one to come out then get the set.

Isn't the last book being made into 2 films making it 8 not 7?
#33
Great price thanks OP :)
