Good price for Haze, even if it is accurate pricing for it anyway.

Oh and neither game is new, and both worth around a fiver anyway.

Heat added though

I think he means new as in not pre-owned, not a new title

 Err, I think it means these are games that have been out for a while, not that they are second-hand, sorry, pre-owned. Of course, if the link worked one could check out the details for oneself.

Oh, wait! That's what you said. Silly me. The link is still broken though.

new or used, doesnt matter the value doesnt change unless you never open the seal.

either way neither of these games will ever sully my collection. even at 50p they would be too much for me.

Tempting, but I still wouldn't even go for Haze at £5 on the strength of the demo and reviews. Never even heard of the other game.

I'd heard that Lost was worth a playthrough if you were a fan of the show, just not worth anywhere close to the release price. Basically a poor game but with enough fan service to still be worth playing through if you were really into the show.

Personally although I do watch Lost I'm not so into it that I want to spend 5+ hours playing through a bad game, although now I've thought about it I might go and look at what the twist ending actually is online...

Haze is just supposed to be bad.

try the demo before you bad

Just played Haze, and it is fine. No where near as bad as some have made out.

£19.99 for Haze in the Leeds store.

It's a shame that poor sales of this game ended a great dev studio, but at this price its cheap enough to see what the fuss wasn't about.

I completed Haze, then went online with it. It's one of those games that you just can't wait to finish and trade in, and i never trade games in normally!

No kind of rank-up system online either. It's like okay i'll go online and play a cr*p game for no reason whatsoever

I knew two people who worked there during Hazes development, and the management sounded like right ***** who didnt have a clue. So it's hardly surprising what happened. It was the top level management (who didnt really have much to do with the actual game development) that were the veterans who worked for Rare on stuff like Goldeneye.

I'm an absolute Lost nerd and a self-admitted achievement wh0re, so when I bought Lost new for £5 in a random Comet sale (thanks to HUKD) I was pretty chuffed with my purchase.
From what I'd read, it's would be the easiest and fastest 1000G I'd ever got!

Let me make this clear, if you're looking for a cheap and fast way to get 1000 gamerpoints then this is what this game is good for.
If you're looking for things such as 'entertainment', 'enjoyment' or 'fun' then look elsewhere. The most enjoyable part of the experience was when the final achievement was unlocked and I knew I could take the disc out of my machine forever.

Having free rein to make a game about Lost (seasons 1-2 at least) gives a lot of creative freedom in my opinion. This game utterly fails with respect to this in that you play some unlikeable anonymous amnesiac and half the game takes place in flashbacks (just like the show right?) where you get this, can't leave the flashback minigame until you take a photo of something in the scene from a certain angle and framed in a certain way. They've got one of the most critically acclaimed and innovative TV shows of recent years and what do they give us? Pokemon Snap? Give me a break.

Don't get me started on the voiceovers, it seems only half the cast were cool with the idea of making a half-assed cash-in (who can blame them?) so while Hurley and Jack and unmistakable, Locke's voice is laughable. How did they hire the guy? You would think that having a voice that sounds even remotely similar to the one you're imitating would be quite high up on the list of requirements right? Clearly not. My nan sounds closer to Locke than this guy.

I could go on, but don't get me wrong about this deal I won't be voting cold as it is a good deal for what it is. It's 1000G in less than 4 hours of discomfort using a guide, or much longer if you're a glutton for punishment.

In the Zavvi (Head Entertainment) store in the Bluewater Shopping Centre (Greenhithe, Kent) "Haze" is marked at £7.99 with 25% discount on sticker prices.

Price at the counter last week was £5.99 (not £5.49).
