As it says. This is quite hard to get hold of, at this price especially.

Don't forget Quidco if you're that way inclined:)

NB - grabbed image file from another site.

Anyone have this? What's the HD quality like in comparison to the standard def version?

Here's a review of the US version - I would anticipate them being almost identical:

And as always - if you're voting cold, please help me and other members out by explaining where it's cheaper or why you consider it cold.

Cheers:)

The HD version of 2001 is one of the best transfers - it was used to demostrate the capabilities of the HD-DVD system
As for voting cold - only if you don't have a HD-DVD reader as it's £15 elsewhere

Not just regarding this specific post, but I find it a bit daft if people vote something cold just because it's not to their taste or in this case, they don't have means to play the DVD.

I may as well vote cold 80% of the deals on this entire forum as that's how many are neither any use to me, or not to my taste.

Not that I'm a sales guy for HMV or anything, but a lot of these type of discs appear out of nowhere and then disappear again after just a few hours so I would be inclined to order if you want it.

Although - don't hold it against me if you do and then it drops a quid tomorrow:thumbsup:

Very well spotted. Have been waiting for this one for a while. Now, if only Pan's Labyrinth would drop just a little bit more!.

Superb transfer and the best film ever made IMO - I paid £22 for this 4-5 months ago!

Watched this the other day. Weird Film.

But some lovely furniture and stunning picture quality, although there is a bit of 'grain' still very nice!
#15
God awful pretentious drivel

But if you like the 'film' then its a hot deal.

Good deal. Nabbed one - but back up to £17.99 again now...:x
