I think I own almost all of these now! Thanks for the post, I haven't checked their list in a few days. Maybe I could buy just a couple more.......
#10
why would you want shrek (or any other animation in HD?
(I can see why "real" objects would be better in HD, but surely a cartoon doesn't look better?)
#11
have you seen one? ;)
#12
animation looks amazing in hd.

I've got a scanner darkly on blu ray and the difference with the normal version is very noticeable
#13

have you seen one? ;)

no, but have the xbox hd add-on on order from Germany, just curious that a cartoon looks any better in HD - after all, Monster's Inc etc look pretty good anyways

I'll take your word for it & rent one when my player arrives..
#15
I was under the impression that animation benefited less as you already get such good results from upscaling?
#16
cheers mare...just bought shooter, been after it for a while now
#17
ordered Transformers!! - tremendous - yes, 9.99 isnt ideal, but hey - HD DVD will always have a life thanks to XP / Vista compatability :) - voted hot!!

You sure can.

For those questioning animation on HD - I thought the same and after having seen a few I would say that there is a bigger difference between cartoon dvd and hd dvd than there is film dvd and hd dvd. They look so so good - the colours more vibrant than you would think. I was watching Ratatouille (not that great a film IMHO but looks good) - a friend of mine walked in the room and said "Wow is this in HD??". Try one im sure you will be surprised.

Got Smokin Aces from Ezy DVD for £5. The Island will never come down in price due to it's demand from overseas buyers. Got mine from Amazon Germany for 10 Euros. Superman I also got from Ezy for £5, but is available from Amazon in the BOGOF promo:
