Cheap as a few portions of chips!

If you use code QUIDCO15 it's only £13.03 delivered

Personally I would pay the extra couple of quid and get the V2 which supports MKV and 1080p.

well you can always find moaners on avforums. Thats where they all go. Truth is, these knock offs usually come from the same place but just re-branded. Im sure most are perfectly happy with them which is why they continue being sold. Plus sometimes Im suspicious of the motives of some posters; its like theyre somehow affiliated to certain companies.

anywways this is cheap enough to take a chance on. I may go for the v2 version.

I have gone for v2 version for total of about £15.50 with Quidco cashback deducted. :)

18 quid for the sumvision 2 on amazon

If it is, post it, as thats a bargain for the Cyclone 2. The MKV version of the TurnMeOn player was slated for not being the Sumvision (which is also a buggy piece of hardware), and that was @ £18. The Cyclone 2 on AMazon as far as I can see is £30, not £18

Sumvisions are rebrands and my Sumvision Micro is a peice of buggy junk thats corrupted my large Hard Disks all the time. Crackles too and loses sync if you fast forward at high speed (or after a crackle). Their larger players are good, but there Micros suck.

I think this is a good price

no point in this if it doesnt work. Sumvision all the way

It doesn't claim to!!

Do you cold vote anything that doesn't have functionality it doesn't claim to have??
#11
Why does it have 1080p printed on the device, yet the description says 720p?
#12
For the money this is very warm.

Seen it working and no problems.

its irrelevant as doesn't actually play those back it just upscales. nor does it play mp4s
this is 'same' as the V1 sumvision micro but doesn't even have the already small brand quality
#15
Well thats what Ive ordered and getting about £1.78 back on quidco so total of about £15.50

from what I can tell none of the negative posters here have actually bought the product so they really cant speak with any authority. If it being cheap means its rubbish then its a cheap loss if it is rubbish. Then again, it may just do what it claims.

I also bought this model and to me it's better than my Sumvision Cyclone 2 - more responsive remote control and less buggy (improved firmware ?).
Slightly different home menu, identical picture performance, though the remotes are not interchangeable (different codes).

And, the Sumvision cost me £33, 3 months ago !

So, get the v2 - bargain !

Dude, dont understand how micro can corrupt your HDD when it connected externally. Enlighten me

Beacuse it does not unmount it correctly. Same way that if you pull your usb pen out of a PC, it can corrupt it. The difference is that Windows has a feature on by default that tries to prevent it. Also, its common problem with HD's over 500GB with this adapter. Google it, theres plenty of people complaining about it.
