So this is 3d?

It's not HD. It can take an HD input but it can't display it at full resolution. Deliberately misleading specification and overpriced tat in my opinion.
#5
VGA resolution (not HD in any sense of the term) Contrast ratio 1200:1

Put the money towards a proper projector as this would be a waste
#6
Not sure why people are saying not HD. It has a native resolution of 1280x800?!?

Good price for a HD projector in the UK, but at this price you're far far FAR better getting a 2nd hand 720p branded one from forums etc

This is HD, 1280x800 is 720p making this HD ready - it should state WXGA not VGA (VGA is only 600x800)

saying that, these should be considered as toy projectors as they only project light though a standard single 7 or 4 inch LCD panel. These wont have any proper optics, contrast will be well below 1200/1 and they'll be noisy.

Best off adding £100 and buying a DLP based LED Projector.

You are quite right, I wasn't paying attention.

Still as you say it's not going to be good value. Prices for DLP projectors seem to be falling and wasn't there a 3 LCD Epson deal posted recently on here recently for ~£600 - OK three times the price of this but surely much more than 3 times better?

Sorry I missed your reply,

Any DLP based or even 3 LCD based projector will beat this hands down no matter how much it cost. If you took one of these projectors to bits, its just an LCD panel you would find inside a car DVD player or smart phone for example with a bright light projected through it.

Its not just image quality, the Epson will have proper keystone correction, a decent warranty, excellent built quality, proper optics, lens shift (zoom) and the list goes on. Down side, lamp life. I have seen recently an Acer hybrid laser/LED projector for as little as £350.

These would be good value at £100.
