and the build quality?

1.5m are available on Play.com at £1.80 delivered. Almost twice the price but might work out cheaper than driving/parking to Poundland for many.

Very good point, would cost £1 to park at my nearest Poundland. Could just stop near and chuck the other half out of the car and she can go in and get one but I'd have to spend more money on petrol doing a lap of the block while she buys it. Especially at the current price of petrol :-(

Yeh good point. I was just passing and needed another for my ps3. The quality of it seems very good tho!

I got one of these at Meadowhall last week - does the job spot on.

Noticed Asda had some for £3 the other day if anyone needs one in a hurry and can't wait for delivery. Much better than Tesco and their £17 value cable!

This is old news, and have been said posted before

Im sure the quality is fine, but make sure that its long enough before you shell out - 1m is not that long for a cable. I got a 1.5m onea and regret it as it makes it a right pain to pull out my DVD player from the cabinet to get the the back of it.

These are rubbish - they lose all the quality of the digital sound that passes through them. The cheap components that make up these leads soak up the digital signal and, at best, make pictures fuzzy and sound tinny. Very expensive leads have special metal from outer space in them and this is not only non-porous, but actually enhances the sound. Gold plated plugs are the only ones to have as these allow the digital signal to pass through it. Ordinary non precious metal connections are not capable of allowing digital signals to pass and, as a consequence, you simply cannot view or listen to anything.

You are a fool if you don't spend at least £400 on a lead.

Cracking Price!

I got this before, only goes up to 1080p, whilst the £1.50 one I ordered off of Amazon goes up to full 1080i. You get what you pay for.

Don't own one, but I presume they have the wires moulded in plastic like most HDMI cables do. :)

I assume your post is meant to be sarcastic or something... however... 1080p is actually superior to 1080i, so it doesn't make much sense either?!

More like cringy reading ... amazing to watch people repeat what they've heard in other threads with such conviction, not knowing where that information came from :?
