I use these to connect my DVD recorder to the fridge-freezer and a fish tank. The live fish prefer the higher definition pictures but the frozen cod are just plain indifferent. It’s one demographic that is completely immune to the HD format war although you can guess which format my pet stingray prefers, Betamax; he’s so 70s.

This is a good cable. I use on to connect my PS3 to my TV and it performs perfectly at 1080p. No problems whatsoever, so no reason to be a cable snob!

No need to be so rude. I asked a genuine question, I have no such ports on any other equipment. You have a real attitude don't you?

I replied with a genuine joke which some people found amusing enough to give my rep. No offence intended but things get a bit serious around these parts so I like to throw a few attempts at humour into the mix. You can’t win them all.

I didn't have any fish so attached it to a tray of prawns, couldn't see the difference until I changed the settings and put on a sea-ray, wait, blu-ray!

Don't worry, I thought you were funny, rep added! ;-)

Humour is OK if the reply also includes something helpful. You are forgiven this time.

Since somebody had already answered your query I felt it was not necessary for me to duplicate otherwise I would have included an explanation as an addendum to my joke.
